this is super awesome! :D i love the song and Ella. But i was pretty sad when i heard Rocket dog died because i really liked her, she was so sweet. But any ways i hate that poor Ella was over thrown and probably wont get her dominance back. Poor Ella wont get her happy ending T_T Dang too bad the show doesnt come on no more because i would love to see more meerkat and new episodes! Is the show cancelled for good or post poned? Well if you kno i mean lol im just curious if you kno ;D
@ColdSparkleIce Thankyou! ^^ Ella might never get dominance back, but she is still alive, so there's a chance she could make a new group and have a happy ending. Regardless of what happens, she'll always be remembering for reviving the Whiskers during one of their toughest times. (: I think I can confidently say that the show is cancelled for good.. However; a movie with some Meerkat Manor gangs is coming out soon. (:
Awesome video. Ella has proven herself to be a talented leader and worthy survivor. Much as I respect her though, I think it is unlikely she will be able to reclaim her dominance in the Whiskers. As you mentioned, her daughters have been rebelling against her for some time now. It wasn't just a spur of the moment thing on Oriole's part. But her daughters are probably stronger than her now, so I think Ella's time in Whiskers is up. Hopefully she can create a new group. Good luck Ella!

But even if that does happen, she would have to evict them all before their strength returns.. Who knows what will happen. Just as long as Ella is okay, I'm happy. (:

You have amazing memory, or else there were books of Meerkat Manor! How do you keep up with individual meerkats and know what they are doing or do you write more stories? How long do meerkats live? Thanks for sharing!
@hugwildlife I rely on many sources for my information. Generally, the origional source is the KMP, the researchers of the meerkats who update events monthly on their website. Though I also get content from a Meerkat Manor book and an online Meerkat Wiki. Meerkats usually live between 10 - 15 years. The oldest I've known was a captive meerkat in a Canadian Zoo, who lived to 14. Thankyou for the comment!

This song, to me, was always Flower's song. The original desert rose meerkat. However Ella is perfect for passing on the title. she really is just like her mother.
In the future I planned to do another video with this song, tried a long time ago and never finished. But really I think this is the best video I've seen with the song used. Seriously. <3
