In Alaska Subaru's STOMP ALL OVER BIMMERS DAILY!!!! who cares about snow here the WRX , STI's and Legacy GT and Outback's blow past Bimmers in 2 feet of snow , in the mountians on ice Subaru's dominate , BMW are sunny summer months [ 5 at most ] hands down Subaru stomps all over Bimmers on a regular basics , period ,in this oil rich state money flows and most anyone can have a BMW , 10 times more Subarus !
High oil prices will give each Alaskan $2000.00 plus in November [PFD] and the highest wages in the nation $50,396.00 is no big deal , 3 months Bering Sea crab fishing or 6 months on a drill rig easy !
In Anchorage construction workers make $7000.00 a month easy and remote $ 10,000.00 + a month easy , Bimmers are not reliable , 2 class AWD system and are not as high tech as the Japaneese machines , Lexus's are 10 times better , BMW's are a joke , constant problems and excuses .

Two weeks ago this Saturday , when one has the income / credit to get this stuff it looses it appeal , such as when the hands of my Rolex Submariner fell of from the recoil of my .454 Casull Ruger Super Red Hawk , needless to say I was no impressed , expencive junk .
Yes I was shooting 330 grain sledgehammer loads , but still that was quiet a dissapoinent to have such a sussoposed "top quality" watch fail . You will see when you have money to buy this stuff , on the other hand Rugers are tough and inexpencive 100's of rounds of sledgehammer rounds and the Ruger is still tight as day one .

ive had a $857.72 neon and now a cavalier, still have the same ps2 since 2001, and $50 is alot. BMW is the perfect car for me. its better than any other sport luxury car. when i become a millionaire ill get the RR and lambo. until then, nothings better than a bimmer
I know that this is an old post and it is entirely possible that you have matured since, but a BMW is not in the same class as a Subaru. Yea sure, at 6500 RPM it makes sense to own the STI, but if I just want to take it easy, or hit 150 MPH at 1400 RPM then I'll take the BMW. If you want something to compare the STI with take the EVO X, not an exceptionally fast luxury car...
