  • hmmm... could be dali na (hurry up - tagalog) or if u were in them southern parts, diri na - which is the same thing in visayan. Don't know what bee lee nah could otherwise be. Might be one of the other 80 dialects over there :)

  • I went into Greenbelt 5 or 3 or whatever. You know the place where they sell all the high class branded goods like Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuiton? I walked in with a T-shirt and geans and they don't even bother to ask what I want to buy. Another lady that looked so posh entered and the sales assistants followed everywhere she goes like dogs.

  • lol yeh its like that there.

  • Why they never think that I could also be rich? Huh? I have seen millionaires dressed up like a beggar because they are afraid they will be robbed. Anyway, I went to 168 department store after that. At least the sales assistance are friendlier. They said "Bee Lee Nah, Sir!" Which I think it means buy it now sir.

  • 168 Dept. Store is in Divisoria, right?

  • Yeah! 168 stands when translated to mandarin means road to fortune.

  • Yeah! you're right.

  • I think she said "pili na" which is like "Choose something"

  • I grew up in Makati and lived their until 2004. That is typical when you go inside expensive stores especially if you're just wearing normal clothes like plain shirts, shorts and flip flops. When you show the cash then they're in business.
