LOL Nice try man, A Logitech Keyboard at the start and then a Dell Keyboard went in the Dishwasher. And then a Logitech Keyboard at the end. I'm on to ya :)
@nsx2200 Heh... you have a great eye for detail. I have three keyboards which I rotate from time to time. So far, all three survive an occasional trip through the dishwasher. I guess I should re-cut this piece using the same keyboard throughout... but it really does work. Cheers!
Ive spilled liquid into my keyboard (not much) and it ruined several. I couldnt dry them with a fan, take the keys off and wipe them, or anything to save them. How is this differant? Im just curious.
@Spiderman800guy123 ... glad to have helped, Spiderman800guy123. We had lots of fun shooting this little video. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Sure does! Lot's of keyboards (but not all brands) will survive a trip through the dishwasher. Just use the shortest, coolest setting and *turn OFF* the heater at the end of the cycle (otherwise it might melt). Then shake out as much water as you can and let it *completely* dry out for a week.
I have a couple of spare keyboards, so I switch 'em while a clean one is drying out. If you have a spare you don't care about wrecking, give it a shot.

Wow, extreme... I tend to remove a couple of the keys and use the hose on the vacum cleaner if I'm desperate to clean it.

@art101tv All I did was spank the keyboard and it got cleaned very good. I couldn't wash it because of these reasons.
1. I don't have a dishwasher.
2. My laptop is, well it's a laptop.
So yeah the good spanking did the trick! :D
