  • It's bot true Huraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

    sorry i'm just so happy

  • THANK GOD!! I got so scared cause I thought that the Princess movies were over! D:

  • The Beast's real name is Adam.

  • I want to join the D23 club so bad....shame it's so expensive. :(

  • So what is the Beast's real name? Someone once said it was Adam because it was mentioned in a storybook... Any answers?

  • Next episode, can you try to explain why the D23 shipments have been insanely behind schedule?

  • Loved seeing what all the world wide parks are featuring for Christmas.

  • I hope that the Bolt plush will return sometime! :-)

  • You should try watching it with the audio transcription turned on. It's pretty hilarious.

  • So..... What's with stitch being hidden by the graphics?

  • Thanks for clearing up the L.A. Times article 'and' for the always-funny rimshot jokes.

Though not current with a major motion picture that is soon-to-be released, but how about having Jeffrey or Josh and Steve take a trip to Golden Oak Ranch and give us fans a tour of "Walt's Cabin."

  • Heh. I knew that thing on the Princesses was bull.

  • just officially became a d23 member as a channukah present! woohoo!

  • I read that article too and was like ::gasp:: So glad to hear that it isn't true. Thanks for the clarification, Disney Geek!

  • One thing I hope people learn from this video is how WDW doesn't offer an it's a small world Holiday. And that they removed the holiday overlay on Country Bear Jamboree. No Holiday overlays for WDW. TDO is "No Ho Ho Ho!"

As for the princess bit, I agree with the LA Times to a degree. The traditional princess/fairtale is dead, especially at Disney. Tangled was a rebirth and re-imagined princess/fairytale story, not your "classic" like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, etc.

  • @DiscussionKingdom You have valid points that I agree with, but I'm going to have to disagree on the following 2 items:

    1) I would not blame TDO for the lack of Xmas offerings at WDW--not everything is solely their fault and not everything is to blamed on the higher-ups.

    2) I don't agree with you on the nonsense about traditional fairytales being dead at Disney--it really is nothing but a bunch of baloney.

  • @disneynut06 Cutbacks at WDW are a direct reflection of TDO. As for fairytales, just look at Tangled back to back with the 80s and 90s fairytales. You can easily pick out the differences.

  • @DiscussionKingdom It's still not wise to finger people, however.

And I still don't agree with your fingering of TDO and the Disney fairytales.

  • @disneynut06 And it's not good to be all Pro-Disney and never complain, it only feeds large egos at Disney. ;) I love the parks and will continue to go, but flaws have to be pointed out and "fingered" at, as you say.

  • @DiscussionKingdom Also, people like you do need to realize that we're still in the midst of a big economic recession, that so many people like you seem to be oblivious to.

  • @disneynut06 Right, and that's why the rest of the company is spending like crazy? The small Magic Kingdom expansion is nothing compared to the projects at DLR, HKDL, and the Villages Nature project recently announced at DLP.

  • @DisMupPix010

Disney became big with princess movies, they should make more fairy tales like them.

  • Please make sure to make time for viewer questions next week! :-)

  • WDW still needs to bring back their Country Bear Christmas Show!

WDW also still needs Haunted Mansion Holiday and It's a Small World Holiday as well!

  • Great vid, as always...I only wish that Jeff would've talked about this year's Disneyland Candlelight Processional! I performed in it along with the rest of my school's Chamber Singers and had an unbelievable time!!!

  • Since there were no viewer questions this week Id like to ask mine this week! :)

Are there any plans for a Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas musical??

  • YES. Love the LOST reference. :D

  • Ahh, sweet bliss!! Thank you for doing these videos!
