Practically useless on a normal pipe fitting 1-1/4-2-3/4 inch width. torque has to do with the tranny. clutch plates ect, boring just increases displacement (a small horsepower increase) allowing more better air to fuel mixture as it enters the chamber as well as better exhaust flow. Personally I like the DOHC version better with a TH400 attached to it. Over a rotary.

@ThatsBannanas They both have their pros and cons. And technically American cars WILL put that power to the ground because they don't have loss of traction once the turbo reaches peak boost. American cars don't need a Turbo to break 10's, even 9's. V8's have Torque, I6's do not. Only 6cyl that has good torque IMO is the VGDETT (Z32 300zxTT) There is nothing wrong with either. They both have their pros and cons, it just takes a retard, such as yourself, not to see that.
@RiceKiller191 the 2JZ-GTE can make almost as much Horsepower as a V8 not as much torque but the 2JZ is probly the strongest JDM engine produced Supra IMO best import hands down

@wadeuss I mentioned that they're lighter than the 2jz because when people think of a v8,they think its gonna be some insanely heavy engine that's gonna throw off the balance of the car and negatively affect a car's handling. "more torque from machining a block"? you mean boring it? It would increase displacement. "replacing tips"? what do you mean by that? muffler tips like on Need for speed underground? lol Also,BOTH engines are reliable and durable, & YES 2jzgte internals are better

@me31690 lmfao replacing tips hilarious. Doesn't really do sht except make the exhaust a tiny bit louder and shinier. Practically useless on a normal pipe fitting 1-1/4-2-3/4 inch width. torque has to do with the tranny. clutch plates ect, boring just increases displacement (a small horsepower increase) allowing more better air to fuel mixture as it enters the chamber as well as better exhaust flow. Personally I like the DOHC version better with a TH400 attached to it. Over a rotary.

@dj8six Real stupid comment on your part because if you are going to compare U S engines to a Jap engine [2JZ] then at least tell the full story because I have seen an american engine make almost 1000 horsepower [ALL MOTOR] without the use of ANY turbo at all and I love turbos just like anyone else does but you think the motor that can make the most power just the way it is would be the better engine and a Chevy V8 can make much more power out of the box just the way it is so get real please.

@2000beastman thats true these guys don't have no were close to that amount of skill but you don't see a pro circuit driver street racing well as far as i know..... the thing about street racing is that you don't need that level of skill. its more about having fun in a car you built yourself and then taking it for a run thats one of the greatest feeling for a guy and remember its not about setting rec or making points but beating the other guy (as long you be careful and do it on empty roads)

@ThatsBannanas They both have their pros and cons. And technically American cars WILL put that power to the ground because they don't have loss of traction once the turbo reaches peak boost. American cars don't need a Turbo to break 10's, even 9's. V8's have Torque, I6's do not. Only 6cyl that has good torque IMO is the VGDETT (Z32 300zxTT) There is nothing wrong with either. They both have their pros and cons, it just takes a retard, such as yourself, not to see that.
