Problem: I can not incorporate the Google Friendconnect on my web-page. If i go trough all the steps a message is displayed " this service is not aviable, please come back later". Alphamega states that all their settings are correct to host GFC. Do you have an solution?

This question usually occurs when someone in using a Blogger Blog or another hosted blog. IF that is the case just add the Followers gadget on Blogger.
YouTube is not allowing links in comments so just Google "Add Google Friend Connect to Blogger in 30 Seconds" and you will get my GFC blog and easy instructions.
If you are using another hosted blog you are out of luck, set up a Blogger blog and use the instructions from the Google search above.
Your FTP username and password is different than you admin login. Call your host and ask them how to retrieve your FTP credentials.
This is also assuming that you are using a hosted domain that you also own, not a free site.
Lastly, a blog is a website. A blog is no longer something written by a 35 year old virgin living in his mother's basement with a poster of Kevin Rose or Scully over his bed. Blogs are just websites and most of what you read on the web is

Thanks!! I couldn't do this on IE, so I had to download Firefox. After following your instructions, it looks like it's going to work!

Im not using a blog. Its a website. I thought I had to put my administrator username and password but that doesn't work.

The instructions are the same if you download FireFox for Mac.

Thanks for that, mostly I was thinking the instructions for setting a MAC and Wx Firefox to download the files could be different.

Since I just switched to Unbuntu, FireFTP does also work on Linux and the instrucktions are the same.
