I have been blessed with (so far)11 years of life, post-transplant. This song when I heard it and the film when I saw it...hit home. I promised myself to do all the things that ironically enough, are/were mentioned in both. I shared a skydive from 18,000 feet with my beautiful daughter to celebrate our 50th and 30 birthdays last year and also took a 4 month trip around the planet. I took the trip unfortunately alone as I had no one to share in it with. I learned alot. I hope to finish in time..

He died the month of my birthday and 3 days before my highschool graduation.. For my 18th birthday... which fell also ON fathers day.. My father's bucket list wasn't extravagant like this but we went fishing more times than I can remember the last couple years of his life and took him on his very FIRST goose hunt in 2002 when he also bagged his first HUGE Canadian with a wingspan of OVER 7 FEET!
