@vlac111 Tropes shown in this game: Attack of the 50 Foot Blacklight Abomination (normally 50 Ft Whatever), Scary Black Man, Why Am I Ticking? (Biobomb), Roaring Rampage of Revenge, I think, and some more. The developers (Word of God) promised they'd make Heller more meaningful and not as mindless as Mercer was. Also, Alex PRE-BLACKLIGHT was the killer of his family via the Virus, while the reborn Alex had nothing to do with Heller.

Besides the whole...causing the virus to grow out of control/making very few attempts to stop it aspect. While I'm sure that Alex had nothing to do with their deaths 'personally', he's still partially to blame for the current state of the virus. Everyone else that Heller should blame Real Alex, Greene, are already dead. So the only one's left are BL Alex, and whoever else involved with the virus debut in this game.

Actually, no matter what happens in P2, BL Alex is still partially responsible, thanks to the fact that it's his fault that the virus grew out of control in the first place. The only difference would be how much of the blame should be put on him. If he actually tried to stop it, but couldn't, then he's 'Guy that made a bad situation worse, and couldn't stop what happened next.'. If he's actively spreading it. Then he's 'A complete monster.'

@Thanatos606 I was talking about it in relation to Heller's grudge, meaning the virus's early stages are what killed his family (otherwise they would've become Infected as the virus evolved to convert more people), which incriminates the original Alex. BL Alex has no reason to spread the virus afterwards and was pushing it back. Alex did nothing wrong against Heller, but the original did by releasing the virus. He's blaming the new entity for what the original entity did. That's my point.

That's not very likely though. Since Heller's family died the day before he returned home. So they died months after Alex released the virus, so it wasn't the early stages of the virus. And to debunk a fandumb theory (That BW killed his family for some reason and blamed Alex), Heller is smart enough to know what an infected corpse looks like. So it's more likely that they were either infected and died without becoming Walkers. Or they became Walkers and were shot.

That is the most idiotic, ironic, moronic distortion of actual events I've seen since those 9/11 conspiracy theorists. It's a possibility they became Walkers and were shot. Speaking of which, if Walkers are infected humans, how do Hunters come about? They just seem like more evolved humans with a gorilla look, but how do they get made canon-wise?

Really? I've yet to get a single P2 ad on any videos.

Anyway, hunters are never really explained very well. All I know about them are that they either come out of hives, or out of infected water towers. What makes me wonder is their intelligence. Sometimes, you can actually spot a Leader Hunter leading a pack of them. And you ever notice how they only target the military and Alex? If you pick a human disguise, they pretty much ignore you. Even after Greene is dead.

@Thanatos606 I've seen them multiple times. On Prototype 2, Portal 2. Sometimes unrelated videos. It's nice having a decent ad for once. That doesn't happen to me. But then again, I almost never wear a human disguise, as I like to keep Military disguises that give me status, like the soldier and commander disguises. I have NEVER, EVER seen a Leader Hunter in the game world EVER. And I've played the game for years. I wish there were Leader Hunters in the overworld, along with Super Soldiers.

According to the wiki, seeing a Leader Hunter is VERY, VERY, VERY rare. But it's happened to me twice. They always come out of those water towers. And the second time, it was very clearly directing the other hunters. Fighting hunters gets ungodly hard when they've got someone giving direct orders.

And I never did see the regular Hunters change much in behavior when they're giving orders, so if there is a change in difficulty, that's great. They should make it more bloody common. You know why? The overworld feels a little boring without some random, rare event. Happened to you twice... Lucky, very very lucky.

I think it only happens in a NG+. You wanna know what's even better? If you start a NG+ and search around a 'War' side-mission, there's a chance you can find a Super Soldier fighting hunters across the rooftops. Those were always fun to watch/interfere with. I never managed to get a Super Soldier and a Leader Hunter in the same place though. And I was on normal mode, but the hunters become much harder when directed by the Leader Hunter.

@Thanatos606 I have been playing in NG+ for ages. I remember. Close Contact is the BEST mission in the game. An equal war with no pansy human soldiers or Glass Cannon tanks or copters. And the fact that you can interfere without having to get in it is awesome. If I hit too many and they all turn against me, though, it can turn into a rape against the player. The Leader would win, but I wonder how much damage could a Super Soldier give out before being beaten.

Judging by how badly that Super Soldier wrecked all those hunters (After I pushed him off the building and towards a hive), he'd do at least 25% damage to it's health. Those guys don't play around.

@Thanatos606 Super Soldiers are by far the most elite, non-boss enemy in the game. Hydras are too specialized and can't keep up if Mercer wants to run. If I hit a Super Soldier, they stop at nothing to hit me back, even if they get attacked by a Hunter. Did your Super Soldier kill more than 1 Hunter? Mine never kill more than 2 at best. Also, do copters ever interfere? I HATE when normal military interfere in the event fights. True. Super Soldiers are far from fodder.

Dude. The Super Soldier I found killed five of them. He was either glitched, or just plain better than the rest. He only died because he killed everything else and decided to come after me. And yeah, the helicopters were annoying during my first Leader Hunter fight in the overworld. But the Leader and the Hunters did more damage to them than I did. Good thing P2 will let me deflect 'em.

@Thanatos606 FIVE?!?!?! That seems possible that he was better, because I only Platinumed the Raid Event when one tank I got was killing them left and right! He killed half the enemies I needed to kill and I finished it in 1:10 when the time needed was 1:25. Sometimes the game "glitches" or just decides to put a more competent AI at play. I bet if the game decided to, it could kick players' asses in 2 minutes. How did the Leader find other Hunters to command? Was it near a Hive?

Yeah. If the AI went all out, I'm pretty sure the game would become unbeatable. Because if every Super Soldier was as powerful as that one, and Leader Hunters were more common, just walking across the city would be a challenge. And the Leader Hunter was already near a hive. And the hunters nearby literally stopped what they were doing (Fighting the military, biting the heads off of infected, etc...), ran over to it, then they all tag-teamed me.

That's true. I saw some Super Soldiers waiting around while I was playing near Close Contact, and I thought "They could do so much more than just stand there". Of course, this would mean all the Hunters would lose. There should have been some military bases in the overworld with Super Soldiers for the fun of it. I'd rather have more diverse enemies around instead of having 2 tanks/copters every 2 blocks. It's really annoying and bland. Hydras, Supers and Leaders needed places in the overworld.
