Want to reduce crime? Keep these repeat offenders locked up - rapist, child molesters, and violent offenders. Officer DiNardo who you so often speak about, shot and killed by a lifelong criminal including gun violations - why was he out? Work on those laws.

Assault ban - bunch of crap. A 22 rifle that holds more than 15 rounds is an assault rifle in NJ and many old 22's hold that.

I too live in NJ and it kills me that this guy is wasting our tax dollars on this kind of crap. Government is supposed to protect our rights, not to fucking take them away.

Not true. the government should protect people from other people. gun laws are essential and there should be more of them. i live in new jersey and i am proud our senators are doing this and taking measures to protect me from guns

I am a Gun owner! The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, what part of that statement is hard to figure out! The second amendment was not only for you to have guns for hunting and target practice, it was there to protect citizens from their government, so matching firepower with "law enforcement" is essential to dispatch a tyrannical State.
