  • Wow I can't believe I've never heard of you before, this is about to help my playing so much. Your an amazing player

  • @hendrix5696 Thanks!

  • these licks are the perfect combination of shred and blues feel!

    thanks a lot!

  • @Bonehand Thanks :)

  • Thanks again for the free lessons,my playing has improved beyond measure.I owe you more than I could ever repay.

  • @sixfix79 Thank you very much. Thanks for being committed enough to go for it at that level. So that you could write such kinds words!

  • great playing! Hey was wondering what bridge pick up your using? is it a hot rail?

  • @v2vroth Yes. It's a Dimarzio Chopper.

  • WHAT SCALE WAS THAT?

  • @Redemptionsflaw Visit the website and you'll get the context of these licks

  • Rocking licks man

  • Is your entire fretboard scalloped?

  • very constructive way of playing and sharing the knowledge, do you play in a band? i would like to see you in concert

  • I use a Quarter for a pick

  • Cool riffs thanks for this! some of them sound good slow also, which is hard to find with shred stuff

  • I like these licks :)

  • How do i get a hold of these metal picks you use? Cant find them anywhere in in music stores in the California area. Thanks.

  • @RangRing68 I buy them from a small company called "DR Picks" Look them up on google :)

  • @wizardofshred Thank you very much!

  • @wizardofshred found it thanks.. one question tho...how flexible is that pick ur playing with? is it a copper, brass, bronze or stainless steel?

  • @rippinkorpse I play with a bronze pick. These picks are completely inflexible :)

  • Very cool!!

  • those licks sound awesome! I'm definately gonna learn them

and off topic: what pickups do you use in your strats? I like the sound

  • @larsnienbergmusic I use two Dimarzio Red Velvets and a chopper in the bridge. The chopper is very trebly and the Red Velvets are just awesome. The loudest and most aggressive sounding single coils I've come across...

  • @wizardofshred I've gotta buy those...seems to be the perfect pickup combination. I totally love the sound.

  • SHAPE 2 for me... sure.

  • SHAPE 05 OMG!!!

  • So much reverb and delay D:

  • Why do you use a metal pick? Is there an advantage to it, or just a matter of taste and sound?

  • @exodor1 It's heavy, so it tends to even out your picking movements a little bit, but that's a very minute improvement. You know how a thick pick tends to sound darker and ore mellow than a thin one? But thin picks tend to bend and we don't want that for fast picking. Metal, on the other hand, can be thin and very hard, so you can ad a lot of high end to your sound by playing with a metal pick :)

  • shape 04 Best. !

  • Cool Stuff!

  • @ThunderStorm2102 Thanks :)

  • Very nice !
