  • I have great respect for commander, i was shitting bricks as a sophomore and i was texas rifle, imagine this kid =D us flag and probably a freshman

  • i do this ,and were alot better just sayin

  • Dang it i thought they were going to dance XD

  • Need a better command voice

  • these guys are not that good my high school would made these guys look like rookies

  • i wish my school was that good :-) unfortunately they didnt start to have a drill team till 2 like 4 years ago

  • the american flag is supposed to be taller

  • @MrKillertrav10 Actually, Not ALWAYS

It's customary but not that important

  • Forgot to point the toes when marching in place.

  • Typos......and mistakes.....you do not report in while the colors are cased...and I'm in NJROTC

  • @mexDBZfan94 you do if it's an armed color guard competition

  • @NavyI know army CG unacse and case, but my district is mostly army schools and they never never report in while uncased.

Well, whatever. Different districts do different things.

  • @NavyGirl943 "different districts do different things" man, read.

  • As a former right guard to a city champ color guard and current color guard commander, you do not report in while the color are uncased, have more snap and pop, lift ur legs higher and point your toes down while mark timing, and don't dip the flag while at parade rest. I'm I an NJROTC u it

  • Presentation was spot less. My school could have done a little better. But its a realy close Tie.

  • You did good the order colors was off, parade rest you do not lean the flag forward for the school flag you simply just move you hand up the pole than tilting it forward. Also saluting your flag is an 8 count. Also lift you knees up more.

  • Ouch

  • points off for the chrome domes automatically js... and when ya marktime you LIFT your knees up halfway to make it slower and more able to hear your marking..ive been the colorguard commander since i was a LET 1 seargent..im now a LET 4 captain. :3 but nice job anyways broski

  • Wayyy to fast.

And the person calling commands needs to grow a pair.

  • ...wtf is this?

  • why are both rifles on the right shoulder? and damn that mark time sucks lol. but its all good they are still learning

  • You all are good! Man, Im in 6th grade & I have to do the Color guard for the pep rally & I had only have 2 days of practice. :( I can't get the U.S flag into the Cup://

  • next time they will need to lift their knees higher

  • i would love to see a drill instructor with our color guard.

  • Can anyone give me the Command on this drill?

  • poop

  • oh so US ARMY dont do the "Colours Reverse March"? ohhhhhh. our colours is like this (english command) "Left, right shoulders carry the flag, arms" "colours mark time, march" left left left right "colours forward, march" "left right colours reverse, march" left left left right "colours forward, march" ;eft right "colours inplace, march" left right "coulours, halt " "Put down the flag, arms" But its a CAT-I command,so yeah, cool vid. ~Cdt./1LT.Tan NZT
  • You guys walked off the drill pad without casing the colors, didn't you? That one right there will get you giged so many points it's not even funny. And by the way, we're also suppose to dip the state flag in NC as well.

  • I don't get the hats. Maybe its bad lighting, but it looks like they are trying to shield their thoughts from aliens. But goo job showing respect for our flag :)

  • Note to any color guards out there. YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DIP THE STATE FLAG AT PARADE REST. Thats what they got us for at our state competition and thats what you seen that man giging them for in this video. I wish somebody would've told us and we made it all the way to state without being giged 4 it

  • @blazblaz that doesn't automatically mean I like this shit, you ignorant fuck.

  • @luukraver yes but you can keep opinions to your self.

(notice that i didn't curse, it isn't nessisary)

  • @luukraver This is not silly. It takes a lot to do this u fucker.

  • @blazblaz2 First of all, I wouldnt call anyone a fucker for saying such a true comment. Especially if you are a cadet. obviously JROTC didnt teach you how to conduct as a u.s. army JROTC cadet. Why are you not proud of ur own JROTC organization?? Thats where you belong...isn't it? You are funny guy man,

  • @ayalamanable 1st of all i am not a guy.

2nd I am the cadet of the year. I know you dont care but it shows how much I care.

    3rd of all, be quiet.

  • should the short kid be carying the us flag

  • You guys gad a good ruteen though

  • Sorry I hate to be the douchbag but their wheels are wrong their marktime isn't 4in off the ground and your suppose to uncase the colors before you report in

  • This is fucking boring as hell.

  • This color guard looks very professional. I know their feet aren't 4 inches off the ground and the commander is short, but it looks really good.

  • Comment removed

  • THEY SOUND LIKE HORSES at mark time march, lol, i hate color guard, im doing it right now and its not as easy for me lol. they did good though

  • @HyprJesusFreaK Figure 15-8 page 15-16 POSITION OF THE COLORS AT PARADE REST: Parade Rest with the Colors is executed with staffs vertical(that means straight up i nthe air, not dipped) everything you know is a lie

  • @HyprJesusFreaK annddd oooooo you're enlisting so you wanna use that to try and make you seem right.....dude a mentally retarded person could enlist in the army. They have the lowest standards out of all the branches. Congradulations on the decision o serve your country though. On that I commend you even if you don't know how to do color gaurd. I will be going to opposite route. I got an Army ROTC scholarship to UGA, might be able to get one for Auburn, and Im a candidate for Westpoint.

  • @HyprJesusFreaK omg bro are you fucking retarded dude it explicitly states in the book that flags are not dipper at parade rest while conducting color gaurd. Dude you are challenged in the brain or somethin if you think that you are correct and dont give me that rotc and basic training bull crap. Being a JROTC scrub for four years doesnt mean anything. IT is the dumbest program associated with the US Army ever. You're not cool and you're not high speed because you were in it for four years.

  • @xxxWarpaynexxx Woooowww. You nneedds to CHILLL.

  • @EffAllHaters I just get tired of little scrubs hoppin on here tellin me im wrong when they dont know what the fuck they are talking about.

  • i had to do this similar colorguard for inspection, and when my csgm called ''sling arms'', the riflemen on my left smacked me in the face with the rifle.. ahh but i kept my barring.

  • when u guys did ur first left wheel the guy holding nationals was out of step and each wheel u guys did u guys slowly glided over but over all it was pretty good

  • @onealhart54 depends on your branch

  • @HyprJesusFreaK if the state flag is dipped, I will deep throat it. You do not dip any flags at parade rest while doing color gaurd. IT is not a guide on. Yall must not be honor unit with distinction.

  • ummm is the US pose to be taller than the state flag

  • @luukraver Wow, I feel sorry for your kind of people. May god have mercy on your soul when he goes to visit satan.

  • @PSNgregiskool I don't think I'll go to hell because i think the U.S. Army colour guard looks silly. It's not a sin to think so. I actually got to admit I really appreciate and envy your ability to accept other peoples opinions.

  • Your squad rite there would kill my squad u guys were perfect in every move my whole color guard team needs alot of work

  • I came back from the same school :D

  • No, he didn't forget to case the colors, the drill card specifically for this competition does not call for the team to case the colors. I am the color guard commander for this jrotc color guard 2010-2013 I AM NOT THE COMMANDER IN THIS VIDEO!!! I just got back from my drill competition and won 2nd place in this. :) wooohooo!!!

  • he reads the commands off a clipboard while everybody else has it memorized. a real color guard commander marches along with the team, not just walking on the sidelines.

  • The Air Force may do it different but the American Guard took too many steps on the Colors reverse

  • wait .. im new to all this , but at around 4:00 , are u suppose to present arms ? aren't yall suppose to only present them in front ? idk xD lol

  • @MassacreUchiha im in color guard ( not this one of coarse) and u are only supposed to present arms right infront of the judges going in and out but thn again im in florida so it has gotta be diff.

  • 1. In florida it's is way fucking different 2. What rifles are using ?

  • @MrBarri13 looks like my high schools cheer leading rifles ( pathetic looking at my school if u ask me) which are meant for spins oh and im florida to so i know wat u mean

  • U forgot to case colors

  • @ken0is0gay0fan0club im completely with you. right guard is lookin sloppy

  • that guy on the right needs to learn how to march in place after the wheels.... he did tarible sultana high schools color guard does way better then that

  • horrible

  • its pretty nice althoug it will be better if you guys pick your knees up a little more.

you guys look sharp and cordinated

  • yall suck

  • I'm not trying to be messed up but this is sloppy, slow and not sharp enough. If you were in a comp with my gaurd you would would come last.

  • Hello I have a question TheNixaConservator am a explorer lieutenant at south el Monte high school. Is there another vid with this routine step by step instructions.

  • 1) Height discrepancies throw it WAYY off.

    2) Pivot your left wheels on the left guard, he keeps moving?

    3) Don't post too far when uncasing/casing.

    4) terrible alignment on "eyes...right."

    5) Drill Sergeant salutes funny.

good alignment for the most part and thank you for remembering to call commands from attention.

  • AHHHH pitiful present colors! -dies- but who am i to say i wasnt a great guard. i was better at being a flag.

  • those are sucky rifles we use the good old springfields

  • how heavy where u rifles cause they look realy liht

  • im in a navy unit. army drill is odd to me, but some of this looks sloppy.

  • this kids suck

  • wow you guys suck

  • THATS AJROTC

  • NOOO

    disgusting parade rifles!!!!

    NOOOOOOO

  • army sucks, marine core is way better

  • How dare u guys call ur self U.S. Army Color Guard?!!!! That's just wrong!!! Sorry but u guys need sum help. Fix the name for starters will you? Plz do us that favor :) gracias!

  • Comment removed

  • hasselmania if you actually knew about color guard you would know that the uncasing and casing should be slow as a sign of respect to the flag and the united states of america (:

  • lol. he messed up

  • Dakota Ridge Composite Squadron Color Guard!!! We are BOMB!!!

  • your color guard looks clean, but you guys need to lift your knees up when u guys are doing left and right wheel or colors revers

  • Jesus Christ, what the hell kind of Sling Arms was that, just yank it?!? Honestly? It's a 15-count movement. And the Rifles are NOT synchronized. Proud to say my team has been doing color guard for 3 months and is 3 times better than this.

  • well, with all due respect, the sling arms can be as little or as many counts as you want, as long as it's synchronized. says the AI at our school(he's a SGM(ret) 25 years). in fact, our jv and varsity teams have two different counts! you may call that disorderly, hey, it works!

  • It all depends on the sling, but the classic, original sling arms has always been the 15-counts. Annoying, but traditional and it irks me a bit that they can just yank out what is one of the hardest commands to get down to perfect synchronization. That, and we still kick their ass.

  • im srry but u guys r too slow :S

  • and 818czar scarfs along with cords, and the specifacations for the rifles(though they are not my first choice)are not required in the FM they arnt doing anything wrong by having/not having those things.

  • well I am the commander of my army color guard and these people uhm...need some reformation in the way they command their movments, while i will admit their casing and uncasing is pretty synced, their present is a bit rubish with the way the Orginazational flag presents so fast when everyone is suppose to finish at the same time, the guard moves forward when they do their wheels too, along with out of sync arm swings, just needs some practice imo

  • silver dildo hats

  • wow im the commander of my color guard my new cadets arent this bad and they just know carry colors presnt arms and order arms and parade rest may i ask were the hell are your scarfs?? why in the hell are your belts so damn low and why the hell are you doing a color guard with those two pound rifles?? were are your cords?? DRILLER GUARD??? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?? GO BACK AND READ THAT DAMN PAPER WITH THE COMMANDS IM A C/MSG AND I CHEW OUT THE LT'S THAT ARE IN COLOR GUARD YOU LOOK LIKE PFC'S

  • yes u can dip the flag just not the amrican one

  • hey check us out at hope high school jrotc

  • u dont dip anyy flag in parade rest!! u can see the judge write u guys up after u made tht no no

  • it depends on who's judging and the branches regulations r bud. in AFJROTC we cn chose to not dip the flags except the national flag.

  • AFJROTC oorah!

  • uncase the colors before you report in. presenting arms with cased colors just dosent work =)

  • as a member of the marine corps jrotc ad there color guard i say that we are much better the arm swing makes it ugly and there countermarches are very ugly they need to pick there knees up on the wheels

  • slow down on mak time and pick those feet up. check out SMA Color Guard they got it down pretty good!

  • it is JUNIOR rotc! ya'll need to stop freaking out!

  • Im in JROTC and we dont look this bad

  • barbie rifles... ugh

  • Whats up with those slings?

  • lol tell me about t

  • mark times too fast, inner guards were off on the wheels, and shortest person should in no way be commanding

also relax when you present in,you got all nervous and messed up

  • our color guard does not swing our arms. also the american flag needs to be higher then the state flag, therefore the shortest person should not be holding the american flag. otherwise good.

  • they have to you idiot! stop hatin! -_-

  • dont swing your arms you look so stupid

  • Thay have to dumbass

  • what kind of rifles

  • @thomaslupe

those rifles are some NASTY ASS RIFLES

  • mark time is the same speed as forward march so if you're mark time is that fast you got to march that fast. im color guard commander at my school and when i teach someone i tell them to think slow and march slow than that because you can always speed up, its slowing them down first is whats hard ;)

  • 'Mark time' is marching in place, not whatever way you just butchered it. I don't know what they are teaching you as color guard commander but they need to check themselves.

  • sync was good but when u do wheels the inner person pivots adn dont move from a spot. and it was really fast marching

  • but still yall are pretty good

  • but they can get u for anything

  • at 3:59 & 4:09 were mistakes u can c da drill sarge write them down

  • pretty good color guard the only thing i saw wrong was on the present and order arms, the flag was going too fast, suppose to stop when the rifles are at carry

  • because i didnt have my 21.5 in front of me i had to use my 22-5 which is the exact same information except it is a watered down version of it so that the book is more compact. if you would like i can convert the pages into 21.5 when i get a chance. btw if i missed any of my points feel free to let me know(pretty sure i hit everything) and ill find it in the manual.

  • after reviewing 3-21.5 colorguard section, i have concluded that it does not specify anything which you said, there were four drill seargents: 2 1st sarg, 1 staff sargent, 1 sfc... they did not dock us for that.... again the fm 3-21.5 is in accordance with our colorguard, we refer to the book for all steps of the sequence.

  • @xxxWarpaynexxx watch the other Nixa color guard video, its the one of me commanding it XD

  • paragraph 9-47 casing and uncasing the colors--- the CSM commands post, the gaurds face to the to half left(right) as in marching.(not a facing movement) also in 9-47---while the colors are being unfurled the gaurds fold the cases and secure them in their left hand. paragraph 4-14 salute at sling arms on the comand of execution arms reach across the body with the left hand and grasp the sling just above the right hand(1 count)release the right hand and execute the hand salute(2nd count)

  • paragraph 9-56 position of the colors at parade rest---parade rest with the colors is executed with staffs vertical. paragraph 9-57 postion of the orgizational color at colors salut---position is assumed by slipping right hand upward and then thrusting the arm forward. during carry colors from present arms on count three when you salute the rifle your thumb is to be tucked look in the FM under right shoulder arms, should be under individual drill.

  • Go Niza! Beat Ozark!

  • cases are supposed to be held in the left hand, your present arms from sling arms is wrong it is only a two count movement, prade rest is wrong never dip the flag NEVER, our routine is basically the same except we get 8 minutes total and we also have to case the colors back up.

  • show me in FM 3-21.5 where we were wrong..... this was before we got good, but there is no reg on all the things you said, there is no dipping the american flag, but on a unit flag it is dipped on present arms, parade rest, eyes right...... show me on FM where we were wrong.... not a perfect routine but nothing was incorrect.

  • @TheNixaConservator i see no dipping everything looks good to me.

  • wow....i dont mean to diss you guys or be a buzzkill, but do not come to georgia, wheels were not executed correctly, present arms is to slow and the flag is to slow during order arms, guys thumb is wrong during right shoulder arms, post is wrong you do a half left/right as in marching not a facing movement, your

  • Definitely to quick on your Present Arms and Order Arms.... Present = a 3 count for the flag too, and Order Arms (Colors) = a 4 count.

    Wheels were pretty nice

I don't know why you reported in with your flags cased though, that didn't make much sense to me.

  • had to comply with the routine, thats why we reported in that way.

  • Nice job... Ours looks pretty good, as well, I would take a video, but I don't have a camera. What state is this?

  • We are from Nixa, Missouri. We competed in Branson, Missouri.

  • we marched according to Army Field Manual(FM) 3-21.5, 90 steps a minute pace.

  • yall need to slow down ur speed its all about looks
