@MrO420o amanita muscaria is great but the mushroom caps taste awful- thats why i like the 10X extract that you can find on eBay for like $13 a gram much cheaper than shamnsgarden- i can swallow it really easy without throwing up like with the caps. 1/2 a gram is a nice mellow buzz kind of like weed mixed with alcohol, a whole gram makes me trip balls!

Be very careful. Some mushrooms look very much alike and the look alike can kill. Make sure you study up first and from more than one source. Don't use one book, use two and compare. And even then don't pick them to eat. Have someone that knows with you.

i reccomend using any type of mushroom in a tea by boiling it in water till it turns thick or just darker coloured. it doesnt mask the taste but it cuts ur chances of puking by alot.

Personally Amanita Muscaria has never worked for me.I started at a low does of 5-7 grams all the way up to a full oz. Nothing. I tried it raw, and as tea. Nothing.

@Slipknot808 5-7 grams of wet mushroom is roughly .5-.7 grams of dried, so if yours was wet it was roughly one tenth of what you thought you were taking and about one twentieth of a real dose. 10 grams dried is fair, erowid lists 5 as small, 10 as medium and 15 as fairly high.

dumb ass use shrooms and dry for 48 to 72 hours under a strong light on foil with a fan blowing at tham cote with lemon juice than sugar befor dryed and eat stemms and caps with sweeet lemon tea you, eat at least 3 grams for a trip but under 15 unless you want to get real sick... if u do this u will have a good trip with no vomitting or head act . sub 2 my channle and also hit me up if u need anything i grow legal things that can give any affect. i am a city chaman =D

i suggest just for harm reduction that you do not pick these types of mushrooms in the wild and eat.. go to an ethno-botanical vendor web site and buy. they are not that expensive and they dry it for you nicely.

I hate when ppl talk about what something does to you based on their experience when everyone doesn't experience things the same as everyoneelse. I have only had results from Amanitas when I had heroic amounts and it (so far) has only worked for me when I was sick (think just coincidence), and would instantly feel healed and a minute or 2 later I would feel happy, warm, fuzzy (figuratively speaking), and feeling as if I am walking 2 feet above the ground, wish it worked better 4 me.

@UniqueWeekend Apparently if you cook them slightly in the oven the ibotenic acid will convert to muscimol. Ibotenic acid is responsible for the bad effects. Muscimol is the good stuff.

I tried mixing a medium and large cap in a milk shake, tasted fine. Hardly felt anything besides a couple moments of restlessness and excitedness. I'll try the rest some time down the road.

As I understand, the toxins convert into the psychedelic chemical with a tiny bit of heat and moisture, so your less likely to get toxic affects. This is only what I've read.

Amanita Muscaria has so much more to do with life then most people think. If you're interested in how the world revolves around this mushroom I recommend a documentry titled "The Pharmacratic Inquisition". I also purchased a large amount of this recently online. I may try these but I'm not sure if I'm ready yet. Let me tell you one thing sir, 14g of amanita mixed with 12 oz of applesauce is a bad mixture. I suggest not eating much at all before or during your trip!

14 grams was an interesting trip but liver was sore for 2+ days. i suggest starting it in early evening, 7pm-ish but be rested enough to be alert to its message the next 6 hours. its a night time- visual sacrament.
