im from chicago and i miss it sooo much. im moving back when i get older. downtown chicago was my favorite place of all cuz of the skyskrappers, business men, outdoor shopping, city smell, taxis, and chicago.
Lovely chicago, i visited there in 2007 in october. I'm from North europe. I spent a wonderful, sunny 2 weeks in chicago. I was suprised how summery it still was there in late autumn, at least that year. :)The city looks really nice especially in the sunshine that i had all the time. and Chicago is so magical in the evening and at night, when it's dark and the skyscrapers are lit colourfully, and I also visited many nice different neighbourhoods, there were many beautiful old buildings as well.
I once saw a man looking at the skyline from Hyde Park beach. I approached him and said, "isn't it beautiful?" Yes," he said, "I was always told to go to New York or the west coast, but i had no idea how beautiful Chicago is." He was from France, and a visiting professor at the U of C.
from ireland lived ther for the summer wit 25 fellas in 1 house yes 25 in keeler!! WHAT A CITY at home now depressing myself watch videos of the city :(
tooo bad you only have pictures of downtown! im from chicago and i have some videos of me driving through the neighborhoods! Quite a wonderful city!!! Come in summer only, winter here sucks!
