I was in the dollar store, found what I was looking for, but deliberately stuck around b'c this song was on the muzak there. I remembered the lyrics and found out it was Collective Soul...amazing! The same group I listened to back in H.S. Oh yeah, I discovered another 'new' favorite song after they played this one: 'Dandelion' by the Rolling Stones- never heard of that song either, but wow! So much for 'Best of' collections when you're buying a cd.

hee hee I consider this more "rock out" than calm :) They don't really "rock out" like hardcore to any of their songs, which is one of the many many reasons why they are the best band ever that has and will exist!

Too bad it's not as commercially successful as their previous albums in the 90's. But this album should've been a hit with music lovers and gone to win awards. I say this is the second best album of Collective Soul because the songs are good and they still rock!

AWESOME song. I think Collective Song is pretty underated as a band. The fact that they've been able to keep churning out good songs like this for so long is impressive. Other bands that were around with them in the 90's are dead and gone, but Collective Soul just keeps truckin' on!

I agree with this. I suppose the way they make their money is by touring b/c they work hard and are always on the road.

My favorite Collective Soul album is actually "Youth", which was the one before this latest. So they're still pretty creative and relevant like the above poster says.

Yes, they did. I don't remember what summer it was, but three of my sisters went to the concert. It was in Salt Lake City. I was pretty young, but I remember them coming home really really late.
