  • ahahahahaha

  • Well, if he was really on the phone for an hour to finally be told to hold the power button down, then I actually have to side with him. Sure he's dumb for not knowing/not looking in the instructions, but no company should make a customer wait an hour to answer a simple question.

  • It's a Dell, it's not supposed to work.

  • Comment removed

  • HAAHAHAHAAAHA

  • Honestly, I see both sides of this. The Dell call tree is enough to piss Ghandi off, but the Dell guy was certainly trying to be difficult. Though, I love him for it because hilarious.

  • I would have hung up the moment he said "You suck" and then swore... I don't get paid to hear his shit...

  • 4:20

    GET OUT YOUR FUCKING CHECKBOOK

  • Comment removed

  • Oh... THE HUMANITY of it all!

  • Dude, your getting a Dell!!

  • Could have told him to hold the power button for 10 seconds right from the start...

  • "MY MOMS LAPTOP WONT TURN OFF!!" umm purchase your own sir :) or do you still leave in the basement

  • the caller was irate, if you know the solution to his problem then you should have told him immediately.... customer satisfaction and experience is still more important... the caller was'nt even asking any information about an account....solve the problem right away and after that ask the questions that was already asked by the previous agent... if he does not want it you the information then log it properly... if your bosses review the call, you still did a great job....

  • @barodify you obviously have never worked for a call center...

  • @lex1mark21 He's an idiot..

  • Comment removed

  • He should not have purchased a Dell, I have heard nothing but bad news about them. The only way I would have one is if they paid me for it.

  • i am back in 2005

  • SAMUEL L JACKSON?!!? IS THAT YOU?!!?

  • if that was me id say like this phone then hang up lol

  • I do the same sort of thing except for the Government. I get ppl like this sometimes, it's funny how a lotta ppl wanna bitch and talk trash but can't even find stuff like the power button on a PC. They think they're all powerful and godly. All they do is make a hell of a funny story to tell. You call because you can't figure something out and then try to talk trash? see how much better service you get when your name gets spread around the company you called. haha

  • Pissed off man...!! :D

  • poor guy when i call i try to be pollite i purchased a alienware m11x and 3 months later the touch pad dosent work and my warranty ran out when i bought a years warranty wtf! their service is pretty shitty but oh well no need to hate on the poor guy he just doin his job

  • That ladies and gentlemen is what is known as an ID10T problem...

  • @celticgibson I get a lot of these ID10T problems where I work - when I go to my dad's workplace usually every 2 months or so at the empty helpdesk cubicle there is a huge queue of calls I answer about problems as trivial as this - it's awful how many people work in Billing, Marketing, Infrastructure Maintenance and when something normal happens with their computer (like it asking you if you want to save a file or not) they ring me up and ask me what they should do.

  • "look goddammit, the fuckin thing is we wanna shut it off!" thats Samuel alright!

  • i can understand why this guy is so angry, sometimes when customers are this angry, you have to forget all the technicalities, (like asking him for his email address and last name).....especially for an easy problem like holding own the power button, he could have been off the call in less than a minute.................

  • God damn American dumbhead. They don't know anything apart from saying F*** although they are born Impotents. lol

  • @johnyspares Don't stereotype Americans based on this guy, I'm sure that you have people just as rude and obnoxious as this guy in the country you live in.

  • BEEEEEP49

  • I used to work for dell as a tech support, and all i can say is that we had to follow procedures before we can start working on the problem. It's not really an issue for us tech support agents to help stupid people like that fix such a stupid problem, we hate those stupid scripts too!

  • This call is not surprising, He spends more time gabbing and venting than actually accepting help.

If I saw this guy I would turn the laptop off by slamming his face into it so many times it malfunctioned. Listening to the call alome builds up frustration itself.

A charming example of humanity. I would just call him a retard and say that's why it doesn't work, then hang up.

  • It's Ed Harris

  • when in the call did the laptop explode? Thank god I have an Acer

  • I have this weird feeling that the caller is Samuel L Jackson ..... :D

  • what da hell does he need his e-mail address for? They are just messing with him further.

  • this is so trueee! all the customer or at least the most call only for stupid questions. for resolve something like this, you only need a little piece of brain and think how to resolve. and you dont have to call us and shout like if we dont know how to help you. if you cooperate we can help you. but if you call like this man ...please ...

  • "and your email address". "WHY DO YOU NEED THAT!!!"

  • this must be fake, every time i've called dell i get somebody from india

    lol

  • "Do you know what a human is?"

  • Guess there is a reason he lives with his mommy. He's a baby.

  • He so mad

  • both of them are idiots lol

  • What a dumb motherfucker. why didn't he just remove the battery?

  • you know what, he has a point about these call centres asking questions.. 3:20

  • Comment removed

  • @aqz2u if you dont like it... fix it by yourself.....

  • I would have transfered this nutjob customer to a supervisor in 2 secs flat.

  • i agree with Hank Hill, whats the point of an email address if all he wants to do is turn off the computer.

  • DUDE JUST FOLLOW THE MANS CODE, IF IT DOESNT WORK

    1)ctrl Alt Delite

    2) turn it on and of......oh wait you get stuck here right ?

  • Being a CSR, I feel sorry for the guy for having to listen to the idiot scream

  • Good respones, I love that you had to guts to tell them fucking bastard! How much more time did that fucking idiot want to take to tell you that fucking ten second solution!?!?!?! What a fucking retarded moron! I was in the same situation and I can totally understand your frustration! Good on you!!!

  • @yanniczk1984 Yeah, sometimes the solution is just that easy/fast, BUT when working at a dang call center, the bosses require you to go through a whole stupid script (hence the stupid questions on the video), otherwise, you get less quality points, thus affecting your payment or causing you to lose productivity bonuses, and the guys at quality dept give you no credit for a happy customer if you skipped the call script, because "you didn't attend a call as per the company's quality standards"

  • I don't want to insult nobody, it's just a fact, but... when working in a callcenter 90% of the time you had this kind of call it was with a north-american customer. latin-americans weren't that rude.

  • @roboboro I agree. I used to work for AOL tech support back in the day when dialup connections were the hit, and attended both English and Spanish calls, and Americans were so dang demanding and Latin-American weren't rude, but were kinda dumb too (I mean no offense, it's just a comment) LOL.

  • @dodgecoronet68, don't worry. I was in middle school those days and I were one of the few that had e-mail. People didn't know much about internet here. :D

  • @roboboro what does that have to do with anythang? youre an idiot

  • i worked in tech support over phone for about 3 years and I just never got used to these calls...

I mean, in movies and shows when you see that situation its so fucking hilarious but... in real life I just don't understand how a human being can have a brain so damaged that they just have this kind of reactions.

  • I sooo woulda strung the guy along for a lot longer, and yes I used to do that for a living and handle the supervisor calls.

  • Hhaahah this is so like Dell not to give a shit.

  • Your not being funny, your just being a DICK! The customer service rep was patient and understanding and if I was him I would of told you to stick the Laptop up your fucking ass.

  • @wowwonders He's not the one that made the call.

  • The guy calling is a disgrace to humanity

  • @MrAndreasToft You better be careful cause he might get ur number and give you a call..LOL

  • @MrAndreasToft completely and totally disagreed.

  • Sounds like my friends dad

  • LOL

  • So i guess hold'n the power button down 4 10sec. did the trick huh...lol! dude could have told him that from the beginning.

  • I work in tech support but I would HATE to work in computer tech support, that guy is crazy, I was waiting for him to explode like a bomb

  • pulling the battery out does work ;)

  • @ewanm89 i was just thinking that

  • @ewanm89 Phone guy = trolling

  • successful troll sucessful

  • Hahaha he got what he deserve... Cx is an asshole... Hahaha.

  • Look, I think the Dell guy just wanted to piss this customer off, he is pissing himself in his mind. Customer service guy and his co workers probably got this recording after the call has ended and went for a joint listening to it numerous times. Poor customer service though if you are at the receiving end of it but it is funny to everyone else, especially for the customer service guy.

  • I would have hung up on that guy or made him talk to someone else

  • 'I'm her son!'

  • That may have been the point of the video but it was not mine. But I understand because it looks like you clearly missed my point.

  • WHAT HELL IS THE FUCK GOING ON WITH THIS GODDAM THING!!!!

  • "ALRIGHT"

  • He's mad because he lives in a world that he was not prepared for. It's filled with emails and power buttons that have to be pushed down. Maybe he should see his state government. They provide free computer training classes.

  • @watcher4927 haha good point

  • @watcher4927 Hey smart guy, that's not the fucking point of the video.

The point is that Dell has shitty service representatives. It wasn't necessary to ask the man all the questions, all he needed to know was how to turn off his computer.

  • @iExtortionist Unfortunately, service reps, are forced to ask for customer data even when if it is not necessary to meet the "QA quality standards" point, bonus, grades..blah blah.. as an old tech rep I can tell you that it sucks but is the only way to keep your job, a happy customer is just not enough for the employers...is a very stressful job, but you have to admit that hes attitude is not the best to ask for help.

  • lol unplug it from the wall or let the battery run out ?

  • do you know what a human is!?!?!?

  • just hold down the power button for plus 6 seconds.

  • people wont try and help someone yelling at them. best way to get what you need or want is by being polite and keeping a smile on your face. atleast the dell dude spoke english lol. unlike belkin customer support "australia" ..more like b.c.s india

  • Comment removed

  • This is pathetic Customer Service . Dell should certainly improve its Customer Service.

If you know customer is Irate. You can just tell him the solution. Sick Customer Service. That was one of the most pathetic calls that I have ever heard. Please do not embarrass Indians.

  • @nromil007 Are you kidding me? The customer service rep was patient and understanding - he only started to string this guy out because he was being abusive. How is this sick or pathetic? Your just going to cop the abuse like that with a smile?

  • it was a send up for crying out loud, I think that was pretty mild, try talking to an adviser from out TVLA and try telling them you dont own a TV!.

By the way I am in england Look up TVLA in here and see some of the probs we have

Peace and goodwill to you all

  • Damn.

  • DELL - it stands for Don't Expect Long Life -- I repair computers...in my opinion Dells are the most unreliable computer around... I see a lot of them.....

  • the customer is going to hell . as of now 646,584 people have heard this. thats 646,584 of negative energy .

  • FFFYOU KEEP AKTIN LIKA GOTTDAM GOMPUDER!!!!!!!

  • people quit cuz of shit like this. lack of people handleing ur dumbass calls means, ur slow ass is goin to talk to a robot...their aint enough people with god-like patents to handle soo many re- re- people. you dont think we're tired of that bull, u dont need to friggin yell. cavemen yell. dumb idi

  • that wasnt funny ata all

  • HAHAHAHA... Normies need to learn how the fuck to talk to their nerds. If that guy would have been nicer, the assistant probably would have told him how to shut it down right away. When you threaten a nerd in his natural environment, he or she will usually retaliate with trolling techniques. He made that guy as mad as he could before he gave him his answer. True artistry IRL trolling.

  • wow the caller didnt need to go over board, I worked tech support and delt with people like him and after the second time of cussing he woulda been a "dropped call"...

  • I used to work 611 repair at AT&T center...I can tell you we will go the extra mile to help you if you're nice to us. I know it is sometimes a long wait to get to a tech and people get anxious wanting help. The worse time was rainy weather and everyone's phone is out...as far as the automated stuff that poor tech ans. this call has no control over that.

I would have asked this customer to stop using four letter words and after the third time I'd hang up on this jerk.

  • i work at dell.... all i do is sign vouchers all day it sucks

  • LMAO I love this! Right off the bat that caller was giving him attitude. I'm glad the rep put him through the ringer before he told him to hold down the power button.

  • Very poor service. Help first and then deal with your corp crap.

  • it's not the agents fault it's the customer who's just stupid some idiots do buy gadgets without even knowing how to use it and always then rely on support, don't they realize that they're just asking for help, F U C K I N G S T U P I D you customer, we're all IT guys laughing at you stupid

  • I'm getting very upset right now...

  • The original video, and in better quality by user: theroj

  • That the award winning Dell support in a nutshell! Full of assholes who spend all their time dicking the customer for no reason.

  • Man.... working as a call center agent is a difficult thing to do. I'm impressed with the calmness of this agent inspite of the abuses of this customer.

  • 2 stupid idiots!

  • dumb afro caller

  • geeeeeshhhhhhhh somebody didn't take his meds! That was totally uncalled for. The guy was only doing his job and it wasn't his fault. I would have apologized once for him having problems but would have also warned him one time to stop screaming and swearing or I'd hang up.

  • I wonder how this guy would react if he lost his keys before he had to go to work

  • most people are right, It would be very easy for the rep to give him a 2 second answer, but I've worked in different call centers before, and all made it mandatory to verify an account before assisting (most times you could loose your job)... Not saying i agree with it. In fact it should be that easy.

  • Just hang up.

  • remember stacys poo?

  • One reason I'm not going to work in customer support, I would probably scream back at him.

  • SAMUEL L JACKSON IS EXPLODING! HAHAHAHA

  • more please.

  • that guy is a moron and should not reproduce, kudos to the tech for not yelling back

  • @smayberry274 have Mari FroM Smosh Say Put a Do Not Breed Paper

  • see i work at a cable internet company people say the automated system sucks but that just you idiots being tards learn to listen to the damn lady saying press 1 for billing 2 for tech 3 for sales.

  • The tech guy is clearly dragging it out on purpose because the customer began acting aggressive towards the rep.

  • Dude needs more crack, stat!

  • Most likely voted for Obama.

  • If a guy doesn't know that you can hold the power button for 10 seconds then I don't think he should have a computer.

I know mashing the power button is a shitty thing to do and it fucks up your computer but he should at least know this is an option...

  • honestly either this call is extremely old or fake. dell support has been outsourced for years.

  • @kekejojo1212 THIS VIDEO WAS MADE IN 2007

  • lawl

  • I would have tracked that man down (with the info I had) and fucking destroyed his life....

  • Not even remotely funny! I can sympathize with the caller but that kind of profanity isn't funny at all.

  • did u try to take out the battery?:))

  • He sounds like Samuel L Jackson!!!

  • @MrGTR32Skyline I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE MOTHERFUCKING SNAKES ON THIS MOTHERFUCKING PLANE

  • this is the kind of person who needs not touch a computer. why would anyone get that annoyed while asking for help. i would have told him to stop the insults and speak with respect or i'm hanging up. i can't see them siding with the asshole in this case, his job was safe.

  • Clearly this asshole has never worked a day in his life...

  • @bassgirl90 LOL...He is in his 30's and still lives with his mother...I'M HER SON GODDAMN YOU!!!!LMAO

  • JUST TAKE OUT THE DAMN BATTERY YOU DUMB REDNECK.

  • at the end a customer service agent doesnt have the fault they are frustraded cause they are idiots and this mother fucker doesnt understand they have to ask questions before provide info STUPID CUSTOMER

  • How an american can be so stupid they don´t know how to turn off a computer they are so idiots MF

  • LOL, Americans are hilarious!

  • @HarleyQ

Not all of us are like that. This is what you would call a "redneck," and they misrepresent Americans as a whole.

  • @lespaulrentals I know, I was just trolling ;)

  • @HarleyQ yeah, we're just as bad as the rest of the countries including your own. you've got idiots over there just like we do :P.

  • @blueovalfan23 Oh, don't get me started about the idiots here. XD

  • honestly thats true if customers can understand that we need to follow rules but wow what a dick o and yes if the customer could be a little more intellegent/smart in so many diffrent levels he could of avoid calling and waste time what a dome ass stupid fucking customer

  • i've called dell, and its really frustrating as they really made u gave them the service tag twice, once by punching in the numbers, then the tech support ask u again, and take all those unnecessary details. but i have to give it to this support, he remained calm and did a well job dealing with an angry customer.

  • It's kind of funny but not really. If it' a real call, hen the caller is busted for cursing an cussing at Technical Support. If it's fake, then this must be a comedy skit that is '"crossing the line" but in some good fun.

  • ah los clientes no entienden que los rep en el telefono simplemnete tienen que seguir con las reglas y solo hacen su trabajo y no merecen que los insulten y aparte los rep no tienen la culpa de nada si es todo lo contrario estan ahi para tratar de ayudar a los clientes lo maximo que pueden de acuerdo con las herramientas que la empresa le da y las reglas a seguir como estandar questions so custumers stop being asswholes we understand your frustuation but we deserve to be treated well

  • Ah, another happy user of windows vista.

  • Bajajajajajajajajajajajaa!

  • that was me.

  • HA i agree with the caller, a simple IT matter that shouldnt require all the information.

  • Lol all that information for just that one advice. The caller is right.

  • @McVaio True, but that guy is a half wit for not trying to hold down the power button and not just repeadetly press it for like 3 god damn hours, lol

  • @Stone5601

Yes, that is also true! :-P I was also surprised at the outcome.

  • Although the caller didn't need to blow his top, I can sympathize with him. He's right that the automated hold system sucks, and the customer service reps should be able to give quick advice like he's asking for without having to run him through a million questions. It's even worse now than it was back when this call was recorded, what with all the customer service reps being outsourced.

  • @nathanjamesbaker mmm ima have to disagree, he's a dick, no explaining that one away

  • @nathanjamesbaker Yea but I don't think he needs to yell at the man trying to help him he's only doing his job.

  • @nathanjamesbaker

I dare you to work in a Call Centre, even just visit one, you will sympathize with the Tech Support guys, trust me, its like shooting yourself with a shotgun constantly.

  • @nathanjamesbaker A number of questions have to be asked for security reasons. And this call would have lasted one single minute if he just cooperated, instead of pissing and moaning at every single step. It's childish behaviour and there is no excuse for it.

  • @nathanjamesbaker I suspect he did the 20 questions routine to fuck with him. Being calmly bureaucratic and unhelpful as possible is a pretty common way to punish irate customers for being dicks in call centers that otherwise give their agents no option to insist on civility on calls.

  • @nathanjamesbaker I dont disagree with you I just I have a different viewpoint. I do support in a call center that handles dell support calls. It's a mixed bag of whom you might get as a rep. I would say that 75 percent are good honest human beings trying to make living and enjoy helping others like myself. The other guys well, they just suck. I would have given him the information he needed right away and tried to cheer him up afterwards and then got the information but only in this situation.

  • Wow.... You know in my call center I would have warned this guy to quit swearing at me. Then warned him again. And after his third swear session I would have been allowed to hang up on him and I would have. What a jerk. It's one thing to trash the product, but this guy was being abusive toward the guy trying to help him. Threatening him is totally uncalled for.

  • @regxi Oh shut up.

  • @regxi the guy was being aa muppet though it took him nearly 5 minutes to say hold the power button down...

  • @evilbadger714 I would have too. With the way the guy was acting, I would have probably tried to drag it on even longer. Being an abusive dick doesn't make your situation better, just pisses off the people that you want to help you.

  • @regxi I worked in a Call Center before, but I only got one crazy customer at me cuz I was at my 2nd day and followed the silly preceduers...after that I followed what Customer Service is all about...it is about help the customer and make him happy...he asked just to turn off the computer...not a big deal....The Rep should have said that from the very begining and if he wanted the credits for it, he could have a nice chat later with the guy...I done that alot...and my numbers were great :)

  • @regxi Thats why you people suck....he did not try 2 help him......you people get badgered alot & get mad & slowly start getting sadistic & thinking the customer owes you some type of: "you're" way only, or I'll hang up on you, if you get mad & cuss at me bullshitt.....seriously it took Captain Call Center 2 seconds 2 tell him how, and only when the poor fucker mentioned a fire....cuz he got off on that shit, so im glad U & him make roughly 0

  • Hold the power button down for about 10 seconds, or until the laptop powers down...

Chances are it's a freak hang, and wont repeat. =D

  • That guy yelling is a doushe bag!! wtf all the rep needed was the info and that's it!!

  • People talked to me like this when I worked at Verizon. Those calls didn't last long. I simply told them I wouldn't tolerate that kind of language and disco'd the call. He shouldn't take that kind of abuse from customers.

  • THIS REP DOEAS A PISS POOR JOB AT RE-ASSURING THE CUSTOMER...BAD BAD SERVICE.
