Did the English not camp near Kirkliston prior to the battle? Seemingly they were on the point of returning South when two traitors, the Earls of Dunbar and Angus, came to Edward and told him of Wallace's position near Falkirk.
The English army was composed of many Irish and Welsh as well as some Scots ( Nothing changes).

Obviously those are national treasures. Are you required to report your finds? They must be invaluable. As national treasures, aren't you allowed to sell them to a museum at the appraised value? Congratulations on your research and you fabulous finds.
@Kimster805 All finds recorded with pas. The artefacts are treasured by the finders, to find such things is very exciting. Their story can now be told once again another piece in the jigsaw of this forgotten history from this famous battle. Thanks for the comment , best regards from Guss.
