I find it absurd to fly with 2 engine airplane over the Atlantic ocean. I book only flights for long distances with 4 engine airplanes. Much flightcompanys thinks about economie, reduce costs etc ,....... and this is the result what you get,, very sorry for the peoples that didn't survived the crash,
@Joelbest1 its an A330, one of the safest aircraft in the world with a near perfect safety record, its maximum range far surpasses the distance of this flight route, as does the B777 which is also a 2 engined aircraft.
@Joelbest1 how is it? 4 engines are just more parts that can malfunction
4 engined aircraft are also very inefficient (unless they are very large capacity like the A380 or B747) , thats why the A340 was not a very good and widely sold aircraft compared to the B777 (2 engined), you can fly from london to sydney these days with 2 engined aircraft (stopover in singapore incl.)
i've been a mechanic for 35 years and also a pilot and have over 10,000 hours in simulators....you just don't fly through thunderstorms;. unless you didn't schedule the proper fuel amount to aviod going around it. you said thunder didn't cause it.. well if i was you, i wouldn't fly on airbus' anymore..till this is rectified. Pitot tubes freeze up;so what theses planes have backup systems, like ice build up on the windshied wiper. if they ice up the pilots know they better do something quick.
@amemy1 - You are ignorant of the facts. A well maintained plain hit bad turbulance and the electrics were burnt out. FACT. This was an INSTANT occurance which caused the computer systems to crash and others were completely dead. This occurred the same time a solar flare hit effecting that region which is why no planes went out to search for it until hours later. Please, Go away and learn the facts before you insult others. Google South Atlantic Anomaly, you will learn something!
@amemy1 - I also added in that video a photo of the solar flare that occurred at that time and facts about how the anomaly (the region in which 447 was flying) is renown for causing major satellite communication disruption and systems failures. You are rude and ignorant. Like I said, read the scientific facts from renown sources about the region and check NASA details about the solar flare that day. Bye bye
COOL! I am looking to become and airplane mechanic.....where did you go to school and any book you can recommended for me to read? Simple books that describe plane parts, how they work, and the like?! Please!!!!!!
I had a AH HA! that I hated my job, but was always fascinated by plane crashes, how, and why they happen, what is the result (regulation wise) of the crash. I actually feel safer flying for this. I even downloaded all the ACI episodes on youtube so I could study them!
I jumped for joy at news of the crash air france flight 447. I love watching the plane sink to its watery grave. I enjoy hearing the passengers screaming for help. The sound of drowning passengers gasping for air is music to my ear. The bottom of atlantic ocean is a awesome place to sleep on. The moment the jet broke up in midair must have been a kodak moment. I'm disappointed that the death toll is so low. A bunch of bodies floating on the atlantic ocean would've been an awesome sight.
More bodies and debris will be found as the intense current moves fiercely but the Brazilian gov't is targeting the wrong area. The AF 447 sank 888 deep on a mountainous terrain topsy-turvy at 2:30 AM in the mid grid of South Atlantic Ocean by the Argentina territories; the pilots failed to make a U-turn for they lost control of the cabin because of computer glitz and complete electrical failure in the cockpit.
Fucking hilarious. Another 228 deluded humans crushed like worms. Some were taking a dump, some were sipping wine & some were sleeping. Sweet death strikes the human filthy ass at the least expected moment. Until then the ignorant humans live like pigs doing some slave job 9-5, hoarding objects for sense gratification, thinking they will never die. Who told you, that you will live until 77 or 120? It could be any moment ignorant fools. Living just to eat, shit, fuck & sleep like hogs.
this plane was hit by a misstle, there was a target high ranking off. onboard, that they wanted to get rid off! nothing wrong with the plane, something wrong with the secret society, wake up!
I blame this on ''fly by wire''technology, these planes are all controlled by complex computer programs.Give control back to the fucking pilots, its what they are paid to do!
Ahhh... Rio De Janeiro and Paris... My two most favorite place in the world... But I'm stuck in a shit hole town, having to make as much money as possible. Well, I don't feel sorry for these pigs who died in this plane at all!
even if someone did survive this horrible crash the sharks would have ate them because their is great whites near brazil so i veeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy doubt there is any survivours AT ALL good if they found the black box though
When the plane lost all it's electronics and maybe avionics, if it was closer to Brazil during the event it might have tried to turn around and return. of course we don't know, because it didn't show on the radar. I think that there are survivors somewhere in that goddamn big Atlantic Ocean. They just need to be found.
Arthur Coakley was one of the Brits on this flight. Please check out his wifes REACTION to the news of her husband's fate and tell me what you think?? im glad that last year i decided never to fly with my children again,,im pissed off with people telling me its safe,,its a chunk of engineered steel and components hurtling through the air at over 500 mph,,and thats not safe,,flying depends on too many factors all to be correct all the time,,there are too many crashed nowadays,,safest way to travel ,my ass..i am very sad to hear about this crash...
I've often also thought to myself, why do they say air travel is the safest form of transport? Statistically, less planes crash than cars, but when one does crash it kills everyone on board more often than not, so thats actually not very safe at all? More people can survive car crashes.
yep ,,theres a reason why most people dont enjoy flying and drink alcohol on the plane,,everyones hoping the same ,,just to get to the destination,,its unnatural to travel by air,,and the consequences when it goes wrong are catostrophic
Wuss, seriously check your mouth because there's bullshit on it. You know shit about aircraft technology if you ask me, I can tell by your comment obviously. It's rare for an aircraft to crash and th
theres a major air accident nearly every month somewhere in the world,,i for one dont want to die in an aircrash with my children screaming and looking for help,,flying is not as safe as you think,,as a airtraffic controller how many near collisions happen each year ,,have a nice day,,,and enjoy your flite.
Maybe it's just unskilled pilot who had to go around the storm but he didn't. It's he's fault. Like the Airbus A320 - US Airways which crashed in the Hudson. That pilot was goddman skilled and knew how to save lifes of the people onboard. This pilot could have done the same, but no. R.I.P for all those who died aboad that plane (if died)
Survival in a plane crash under those circumstance is extremely unlikely. The Hudson River crash was a different scenario and altitude. Aircraft fly through storms all the time, obviously it's not the ideal condition and so I would not say the pilot is at fault. Things break, nature and the matter we live in is just evil and that's the way it is here. It's a shame and I feel for the friends and family whether they are French, Brazilian, American, etc.
yes and it might not have been struck by lightning if he'd go around the storm. And btw - Now they are investigating if it would have been a terrorist strike. They think that plane is 6 km down at bottom of the Atlanctic Ocean. The part found on the surface we're burning. How the hell would a lighting strike lit up a jet? I say it was a bomb or it crashed so hard it blew up. Greetings!
It is a fact that this plane hasn't landed anywhere and that its fuel would have run out a very, very long time ago. Unfortunately it looks like there wouldn't have been any survivors, even those who may have survived the ditching...It is very sad, and I feel very sorry for the families of all those involved.
stop chaffing your dicks ,....goto aviation herald site and read updated flight recorder data. as of today,..technical terms language...
