Amazing. To think that because of the date of the release of these movies that this 3rd movie would have such a nostalgic impact on us. Wow. It's been far too long since I've enjoyed a movie like this. It stuck with me through childhood, and not an ounce of sentimental value from Toy Story's story line and wonderful characters has left my mind since I've watched Toy Story 3. Very successful sequel, Pixar.

@PhobiaMomo Tom Hanks accidentally let it slip in an interview that Disney-Pixar was either considering or working on Toy Story 4 (I can't remember). It could go either way but after the nightmare that was Cars 2 (Plus the fact that there have been very few, if any, good fourth sequels), is anyone really expecting it to be any good?

I'd say the writers are geniuses at pixar. They used the 2 toys with the best effects and made them a perfect part of the movie. Buzz being the only battery powered toy can change his personality with language and demo mode and they made that ability some of the best scenes in the movie. And also Potato head's body is detatchable meaning you can put his parts on almost anything. and they rolled with that fact with the creation of tortilla and zucchini head in their escape.

By making the third one, the Toy Story movies witnessed the "Lord of the Rings Effect." By that, I mean the first one was fabulous, the second one was just as good, if not a little better, but the third one is so good, that it's considered to be the most epic film of its type.

Hypothetically speaking, the only way a 4th might work is if they make entirely new characters. But even then it's a bad idea. When you think of "Toy Story" you think of Woody and Buzz. The series is finished and any new entires would just kill my respect for Pixar.

@j04370859 Come on. Why do you have to automatically assume a 4th installment is going to ruin everything? I thought the 3rd wrapped things up perfectly as well but this is Pixar. They know what they are doing. For Pete's sake, we don't know ANYTHING about a 4th film. We don't know if it's a sequel, a prequel, or if it's even going to exist in the first place! And if there is one, and you're still unhappy, then DON'T SEE IT. And if you do see it and hate it, then just pretend it doesn't exist!

,At the start of the movie when they showed the home videos of Andy growing up I nearly cried, towards the end where they were about to be kiled I shed a couple tears, but at the very end when Andy said goodbye to the toys forever I broke down crying, it not only reminded me of my childhood but it also made me feel as if I was saying goodbye to a lifelong friend, This series was brilliant and it was an honour to grow up with these movies in my life.
