I think I understand where you are going with this, but when you begin to separate our countries heritage in the laws and constitution from Biblical principle, you begin to go down a slippery slope to the point of no return. Such is the case today with the laws we have. We no longer have alienable rights, since people make the argument that there is no creator. Then where do those rights come from?
Our country WASN'T founded on "biblical principles." There is no basis for such a belief. Only 2 of the 10 commandments are even laws, and those 2 are found in basically every culture including those that never heard of the bible. Some of the founders were Christians, some were not, but the government they formed was, and is to this day, explicitly secular.

I think I understand where you are going with this, but when you begin to separate our countries heritage in the laws and constitution from Biblical principle, you begin to go down a slippery slope to the point of no return. Such is the case today with the laws we have. We no longer have alienable rights, since people make the argument that there is no creator. Then where do those rights come from?

Our country WASN'T founded on "biblical principles." There is no basis for such a belief. Only 2 of the 10 commandments are even laws, and those 2 are found in basically every culture including those that never heard of the bible. Some of the founders were Christians, some were not, but the government they formed was, and is to this day, explicitly secular.
