There are a lot of mistakes in this video. I think the author is intentionally creating some confusion with words such as "huri" and "jinee" etc. I would suggest people read the Quran for themselves and decide. Also if you are interested in understanding the truth of Islam then speak to a Muslim. If the author of this video was being honest he would have referenced the translation of the Quran which he is using. I have a Yusuf Ali translation and much of what is mentioned here is not found.

@kasimhussain21 Most of the Bible was written about 1500 to 500 years before the Koran, so why would anyone have any reason to take out something about Mohammad? It makes no sense. Archeologists, finding the dead sea scrolls in the 1940's (carbon dating them to circa 1000 BC), found exact replicas with the exception of about 8 or 9 letters in the fragments reconstructed. Not words, but letters that did not change the verb tense or meaning. You can Google Dead Sea Scrolls to learn about them...

I actually had an e-mail exchange going back and forth with Bill Weir after this aired. Needless to say, he was not pleased when I accused him and ABC of producing a fluff piece on Islam. Apparently, this was done to 'bridge the gap between communities' and to 'stop Islamophobia' rather than actually being honest about the (violent, kuffar hating) content of the Qur'an.

Whatever the Koran says, I have experienced many lovely Muslim families where the husband respects his wife and parents to an extent almost unheard of in the christian world. Who are we as a Christian to judge the sexual behavior of Muslims when we can't get it right in the Christian Societies? I switch on my TV after work when my kids are around and see nothing but sex and violence. A christian (catholic) friend from Africa told me he can't believe how sexualised the western society is.

Actually the qur'an was most likely translated from syric to arabic at the beginning of the 10th century CE. qur'an orgins from the syric qeryana, meaning letionary or liturgy book (of the arabic christians of the tiem).
