es por la ram tio, la tarjeta grafica tiene que coger de la ram al ser compartida, mas la que coja windows se te queda corta.

Impossible. The installer detects you have insuficient power on your Intel GMA x3100 and then it refuses to install. Unless you have bypassed that and done some extreme overclocking along with some damn liquid cooling, it's impossible.

dont forget guys, vista has DX10, thats the only reason to use it. I have heard of software that will supposedly allow DX10 compatability on xp what ever that may mean so who knows.

But Vista is only good for DX10 games, and this card supports DX10. You will be missing out on alot without DX10 especialy when the supported games come out.

this graphic card with good drivers can really deliver some power in games you can even play Oblivion on medium low settings !!! If you can put some footage of this game on youtube i will appreciate it !!

Yo tengo un Vaio CR21S, con una x3100, mejor procesador que el tuyo, sólo que con 2 gb de ram, y no me tira ni de coña. En Windows Vista he conseguido rularlo pero vamos.. a 15 fps como mucho y muy mal.

¿Qué SO tienes? ¿Qué versión de los drivers?

i have a toshiba equium a200-iv0 its specs are:

- Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor T2310 (1.46 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache)

- Genuine Windows Vista (R) Home Premium

-2 GB RAM

- 358 MB INTEL GMA X3100

but its not running battlefield 2 at all.

ive tried everything from xp compatiability mode to running it as admin, and the drivers ARE up to date.

do you think its the combo of vista and the x3100 stopping it from running?

You need to update your drivers

I run BF2 on acer aspire 5720z with the same specs (processor, vga, ram, so) and it run but the driver update it's required.

By the way you should downgrade to XP XD

With Vista I felt as showed on the mac vs Pc commercial XD

Heh I understand. I was only joking. :)

I doubt it. Gaming with Intel is a bad idea, unless you are talking about their processors (which are currently the best on the market). The GMA x3100 just isn't up to the task. You'd be lucky if you got more than 15 FPS on the very lowest settings.
