i always wondered why do right handed drummers hit the snare with their left hand ?? because im left handed and i always play the snare with my left hand
@nicholas33309 I'd say a majority of drummers find it easier to keep steady time on the hats/ride/etc with their dominant hand. As a fellow lefty, I set up my kit like a right-handed person usually does, but I drop the hats down lower and play them with my left hand, or "open-handed" -- as opposed to crossing arms like most drummers.
