Those were the good old days in Benin. Benin City is no longer good. It has been taken over by cultists, armed robbers, kidnappers and other social miscreants. Night life has dissappered from Benin. The last time I was there (about 2 yrs ago), everyone locks himself behind bars as early as 7pm. Gone are those great nights at Iyaro, Medical Junction, New Benin, etc. Oh! what about those good days of Benson Idahosa. The night vigils, crusades, etc. All gone! What a pity!
