This tired old war-horse is 100% pure Schmaltz. I get the image of Little-Nell being tied to the railroad tracks by Snidely-Whiplash and then being rescued by Dudley-Do-Right. It makes me chuckle every time I hear it. Thanks for posting it.
If you like this piece then I highly recommend the William Tell Overture played by The Spike Jones Orchestra.
Razor I hope you have fun playing in the orchestra. I hope you have chances to keep playing in the orchestra...it is good to play in both band and orchestra...the music that each group does is different. Good luck and enjoy.
were playing it the same way in the youth orchastra that im in. Its very hard for me becuase i play the b flat clarionet on this peice. And its very hard for me to play it becuase I have never played any music the real way. Im used to playing school band stuff. But i think i can do this kind of music in the youth orchastra becuase i love this kind of music that this symphony just did. And im only like 12. But the more i listen to this i will under stand it. So thanks for puting this on youtube
