Thanks for the remark. I've had only 33 views in a year, so I don't know how you found it. I"m not sure what you mean about MMA as a basis, but I believe you are rigth about Wing Chun. This particular system doesn't go for high kicks because of the balance and vulnerability problems.
I think that training in marshal arts is always good to some degree. I think there are many fine speaches never made for fear of a but kicking, and that alone is enough.
I decided not to practice any more because it does not serve any purpose -unless one works as a policeman, military or entertainment.
What I see in the video is modified southern style similar to Wing Chun.It's fine as long as whoever does the modifications could defend them by defeating all his opponents and have a long list with their names to show as evidence.
Any fighting system today has to incorporate MMA as the basis of its teachings and then explore beyond the competition rules.
