xp lite (not nlite) doesnt work if you have the service pack 3 installed, just to let you know

theres a tweak on the internet that makes it work i think, you just change the version

Thanks found the solution, just change a reg setting so xp thinks it has service pack 2

i had a problem with XPLite (it didn't run on SP3).

i've changed reg keys:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\M­icrosoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]

"CSDVersion"="Service Pack 2"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Cur­rentControlSet\Control\Windows­]

"CSDVersion"=dword:00000200

restart required

Well you just hit it right , cuz i'm active in the MSFN forums :) and there is the place were all tools for making unattended xps and Vistas and stuff :)

VLITE is for Vista

Nlite is for XP/2000 as much as I know.
