i think somali, touareg, eritrea, tutsi, hausa, fula, pple north africa, north sudan are some race my be they are 4000years ago they are empire then they sprede all africa if u go know puntland state off somali you can see huge graeve yard and other alphapetic we never knew it , any way all human is some world need peace and love simple , city like mogadisho, or lower shabelle is very old ,but i hat ethiopianswho eat shit and mouth smell like socks , dirty bacteria
The somali people are from Ancient-Egypt and Land of Punt , they have the same ancestors according to history , "Osiris" (Ausar in ancient-egyptian ) is the AwSar of somali people meaning "Father Sar" = Aw Sar . in somali language Isir means "ancestor" . and Osiris is the ancestor of ancient-egyptians . In both language "AAR" means "lion" : if you want to see ancient-egyptians culture ,and people , you have see somali people !
the somali population was more in the interior than in coastal areas.Ogaden.N.e kenya, central eithopia-sudan area. Axum/abyissina wasdominating at that time.Somalis folklore-oral history trace them to interior of E.africa.even bajuni/mijikenda history protarys somalis as having migrate from the interior.Could be somali mixed with other black tribes of the horn who were native to both E.A and yemen.same pple are found in india-australia-papua-indonesia etc.-these were the sea people E.A
@haramacad i think you confuse other ethic groups that were native to the horn of africa as somalis. its common knowledge that bajunis/mijikenda people migrated to east coast of africa from yemen-sanaa areas.other tribes trace their roots to iraq area or middle east.this before the advent of light skinned arabs.the lemba of S.A sanaa-yemen/oman area their ancestral land.
OROMO/SOMALIS were also natives of yemen and the horn of africa. Points is that many african tribes lived here.
@123thjoe No actually the Somalis and Oromo are not Semitic but Hamitic North Africans that descent from the Egyptian line.
Haplogroup E3b is enough to debunk everything you wrote.
Haplogroup E3b is not even found in Yemen. 80% of Somali males are from this haplogroup, and correspondingly 80% of Yemeni males are from haplogroup J1.
The only connection between the two groups is the Afro-Asiatic languages which originate in Africa.
WHEN DID A NOMADIC TRIBE BECAME SEA SAILING PEOPLE.The present day somalia coast was occupied by swahili-mijikenda speaking people-namely the bajuni-barawes and other non somali tribes.Mogadishu was a swahili-arab settlement-the ancient ruins/buildings mirror those in kismayo, lamu.mombasa zanzibar, kilwa etc. THE BOAT YOU HAVE POSTED IS OMANI DHOW COMMON IN E.AFRICA AND OMAN-INDIA
@123thjoe do you know that the oldest city in eastern africa is in somalia after ethiopia if you say cave painting or sailers mogadisho are older then barawa mombasa zanzibar and mozambique and the bajuni tribe before mogadisho there were other cities in northern somalia that was saillers before islam and swahili people you are somalis are nomads but not all of them somalis have farming tribes fishers people and merchant people.
@123thjoe if i name the cities that were older than mogadisho During the classical era, several ancient city-states such as Opone, Mosylon and Malao (ancient) that competed with the Sabaeans, Parthians and Axumites for the wealthy Indo-Greco-Roman trade also flourished in Somalia.
I was raised in land of Punt , and my father give me to drink the myrrh which
Hatshepsout's ship of trade expedition 15th century before Christ , had taken in Land of Punt . At night we used always , the incense , Women of Punt use also ,perfume ,special frankincense which is called uunsi . Also, children of Punt were raised as the ancient egyptian children because they were from the same ancestor "Ammon" . as the history proved it ! Viva ! Land of Punt !

Somalia IS the Land of Punt, however the Land of Punt would have covered many countries such as Eritrea, Djibouti, Northern Somalia etc.

@RuralMan08 Yes Eritrea, Djibouti, and Somalia are all in the same geographical region of the horn of Africa.
