These guns are cool as all hell, but in all usefulness, they are kind of dumb, a weapon designed to be a submachinegun thats just to big and bulky to be a pistol, not to mention weight, but overall badass, but just too much money for the fact that its pretty much a show piece and not really a pistol to carry. I am tinkering with the idea of getting the full auto version. The only thing that keeps me undecided is about the liabilities that come with Class 3. I know that I can buy the gun and pay the $200 transfer tax, but needing me a job, I can't afford to be home all the time if A.T.F. wants to come and check it out at random. I figure that I most likely will go with the Masterpiece Arms one instead, but wasn't sure if getting the S.M.G. was worth the headache or not
@erkoekrf The ATF can't come into your home whenever they want just because you have a title 2 weapon. Unless your home is a 'Class 3 dealership' then the only thing they can request is an appointment be made for you to produce the paperwork for the gun. They do not have the right(without a warrant) to come into your home.
I love this gun. It's more accurate and reliable than all my other 45acp pistols. The morons who say that this gun sucks have no clue how good this gun is. Masterpiece Arms perfected the Macs. I say this way better than an Uzi. If you get the one with the top rails, you can get a red dot on it for better accuracy.
I used to work at MPA, they are not as good as an Uzi, but you're right, they're half the cost. The only bad comments I've ever heard from owners are that they jam a lot in the 22 version, but that's just because the 22lr is a shit round anyways. It's worth the money, I would suggest the handgun with AR-15 grip and barrel extension, the best one they make.

I was at the range a few years ago and someone was shooting a 45acp mac 10 semi auto pistol and it was jamming up like it was its job.... I take it since she made it through a whole magazine in this video you did not run into such bad luck. Just curious what type of magazines you were using, and if you know anything about the different manufactors of mac 10's which ones are junk and which ones are actually good shooters...
the older ingram and cobray had those issues. they were firing from open bolt most likely. these new masterpiece arms cycle near perfect for me and fire from the closed bolt. of course this is a semi auto version
The one I saw at the range shot from a closed bolt but was jamming up really bad to the point that he was wacking the pistol downward against the shooting bench to try and force the bolt open. From your videos it seems that the masterpiece is well made.
MasterPiece Arms guns are built like tanks, I have never had mine jam on me. Vulcan Arms guns are practically impossible to use and some Cobray guns don't work too well, but they generally aren't too bad with the right magazines.
MPA just doesn't jam, I've bumpfired hundreds of rounds through mine and I've never had a problem, and they're damn accurate too, I'd gladly put a red dot on mine if I could, it's hard to miss with these things, even with the shitty sights.
I use to be very bias towards Mac 10's but I guess now my eyes have been opened that MasterPiece Arms manufactures a reliable Mac 10.... I may have to get one some day.
the point originally for a big bulky receiver was for the weight of it to offset the muzzle climb of it being fired full auto or bump firing in my opinion

let me try to settle this argument quickly since everyone is getting so hot and bothered about this gun. first off, i never declared this as my carry gun. that is non-sense to even think of. i am a collector of firearms practical and non-practical. but if i was going to use this gun in self defense then the 30 rounds would come in handy if a 5 pack of street thugs were coming at me. not every situation is going to involve a single attacker. plenty of firepower if i kept this under my car seat

i attest to it also,to a certain extent ,but my reason for saying that is because the mac10 9mm was made to be a lead spitting machine pistol whether accurate or not lol..now the mac10.45 is in concept a very good idea but being semi and as bulky as it is for a pistol,this weapon for concealment is kinna redundant..now dont get me wrong ive fired this one and i loved it but i was more talkin on the lines of being in use as a concealed type of pistol..srry i ddnt elaborate on what i meant

how good are those compensators at reducing recoil? masterpiece arms makes the best macs. last gun show i was at had several velocity vulcan mac-10's for $500. my favorite is the mpa mini 930.

I was at the range a few years ago and someone was shooting a 45acp mac 10 semi auto pistol and it was jamming up like it was its job.... I take it since she made it through a whole magazine in this video you did not run into such bad luck. Just curious what type of magazines you were using, and if you know anything about the different manufactors of mac 10's which ones are junk and which ones are actually good shooters...

the older ingram and cobray had those issues. they were firing from open bolt most likely. these new masterpiece arms cycle near perfect for me and fire from the closed bolt. of course this is a semi auto version

The one I saw at the range shot from a closed bolt but was jamming up really bad to the point that he was wacking the pistol downward against the shooting bench to try and force the bolt open. From your videos it seems that the masterpiece is well made.

MasterPiece Arms guns are built like tanks, I have never had mine jam on me. Vulcan Arms guns are practically impossible to use and some Cobray guns don't work too well, but they generally aren't too bad with the right magazines.
MPA just doesn't jam, I've bumpfired hundreds of rounds through mine and I've never had a problem, and they're damn accurate too, I'd gladly put a red dot on mine if I could, it's hard to miss with these things, even with the shitty sights.

I use to be very bias towards Mac 10's but I guess now my eyes have been opened that MasterPiece Arms manufactures a reliable Mac 10.... I may have to get one some day.
