I only have tekken 6 but I've seen some gameplay for this game. They got a lot better places to fight in this game. I only liked some in Tekken 6, like tunnel disaster. Also this seems to be a lot more serious.

Kazuya never used the devil gene against heihachi until tk 4 and the only reason why he struggles against heihachi and jin is because he lost half of the devil gene when jin was born and isnt as strong with it as he was b4 but jin cant beat kazuya when jin is in his devil form. Heihachi aslo has a stronger devil gene but kazuya is stronger physically and mentally. if kazuya had 100 percent which he dont he would dominate.

Its most likely because Kazuya was the orginal hero of the series and is just a overall great character.
As far as his record goes in Tekken 2 Kazuya had a internal struggle in his body with Devil and Angel and was thus not really at his best when he announced the KOIFT2. Then after that half of Devil fled to Jin so hes been fighting at half the power he had in T1 & T2.. Yet and still hes a dangerous opponent despite these setbacks.

Why did Tekken 4 look so much different then the rest of the tekkens? I enjoyed the game but it just looked wierd. When Tekken 5 came out it went back to the Tekken look. Hwoarang has been one of my favorites, and he looked fat and wierd in 4. His voice was gay in his ending movie too.

He never loved Jun, he was merely conflicted between his humanity and his desire for revenge, which the spirit inside him was propogating. I'm sorry but I needed to correct those errors. @Larh124 That last bit is in direct contradiction to the story in Tekken 1 and 2. Kazuya's mother died in labour with him, so he never knew his mother, and furthermore he never knew Jun until she was sent to investigate the Mishima research on animals. Namco are completely ripping the storyline to shreds.

Are you talking about the soldiers from this intro? They are from the Mishima Zaibatsu. Kazuya is now in control of the G Corporation forces. (Which occurred from Tekken 5 - Tekken 6)

Why can't the new Tekken's be like this?
What Tekken 4 lacked in gameplay, it made up in a whole lot of style. The new ones seem to think Tekken is some funny anime, while Tekken 4 actually tried to portray itself seriously.
I mean, compare this intro to the second part of the Tekken 5 one, it's like two different series.

@cooppp i couldnt agree more with you! i hope they make a new game modelling itself after tekken 2 and tekken 4...for me they are the best tekken games because they have the best story and the game in itself is dark and serious...i seriously hate tekken 5 and tekken 6

@cooppp I agree tbh the story went out of the hand the moment they decided that brining back people from the dead was Ok. I mean I let the Kazuya thing slide as it isn't really him, it's a clone a recreation of Kazuya with all his memories and hatred preserved. But now we have an old age pensioner surviving explosions that hurls you for 20 miles or so and we have Jin's great grandfather comming back to life to Kill his sons now everyone including Heihachis dad is a purple fucking demon!? wth

Weird as from Tekken Tag Tournament to Tekken 4, they lowered Characters. Although Gameplay on Tekken 4 was good.
TagT Engine was just as the Previous Tekken so recycling was easy with the Chars. However I'll take TagT since Alex/Roger is there.
Aleast I have Tekken 5. Great Character Roster, Tekken Arcade Classics. Yet, 6 experience Loading Times. I'll wait TagT 2 for Issues fixed.

I can't say nothing more about Tekken,it's just my favorite ever game i have just played,ah!And the history?so well made...i just love Tekken. Tekken 6,i hate for everything in this world,i just bought Tekken 6 because i am a real fan of Tekken series.But anyway,Tekken1~5 it's ok,but Tekken 6...i hope some day,they remake this one.

Why did Tekken 4 look so much different then the rest of the tekkens? I enjoyed the game but it just looked wierd. When Tekken 5 came out it went back to the Tekken look. Hwoarang has been one of my favorites, and he looked fat and wierd in 4. His voice was gay in his ending movie too.

@nikolassj Jun Kazama is Kazuya Girlfriend and Jin's Mother! The creators are putting Jun Back in the Tekken Tag 2 series! She was also on Tekken 1, 2, and the first Tekken Tag game! The Creators said that Jun disappeared when people thought she was dead! Put Tekken 2 Jun Theme and u will see her!

@Larh124 yea i know that she was in the 1 n 2 tekken games .... in the movie they told that she was raped by kazuya n heihachi saved her by sending her away from tekken city or something and later kazuya found out that jin is his younger son he killed jun n tried to kill jin but he failed :) so is it at least half of what i said true ? n thanks for all the info mate ^^

@nikolassj NONE of that shit is true! Jun actually loved Kazuya since they were kids! The Movie is full of SHIT follow the REAL Story Line! Kazuya actually cared about Jun but when he had to make a deal with the devil TO LIVE since Hiehachi threw him over a cliff when he was 5 years old, he did do a lot of cruel things! The devil was inside of Kazuya, he had a very hard time controlling it! Kazuya was trying to fight Devil off! Kazuya DIDN'T rape Jun they had a One Night Stand, then Jun had Jin!

@Larh124 This notion that Kazuya knew Jun as a child is exclusively from the movie. He never loved Jun, he was merely conflicted between his humanity and his desire for revenge, which the spirit inside him was propogating. I'm sorry but I needed to correct those errors. I agree that Kazuya was the victim, the villain and the hero all in one. This is why Jin failed to replace him, he was Namco's one dimensional poster boy who attracted kindred personalities.

@Larh124 That last bit is in direct contradiction to the story in Tekken 1 and 2. Kazuya's mother died in labour with him, so he never knew his mother, and furthermore he never knew Jun until she was sent to investigate the Mishima research on animals. Namco are completely ripping the storyline to shreds.

@Larh124 Kazuya never said he missed Jun in Tekken 6. Jin did. In fact, I think that if someone were to ask Kazuya, "So, what kind of relationship did you have with Jun Kazama?" He'd reply in some fashion akin to "I was once inside her, then I wasn't."

This game was very surprising to me because of the new cool characters like Steve Fox an Christie an it was a good game to me nice new way to tell the story behind each character smooth graphics an this game has some of my favorite stages an I know Everyone was surprise when they change jins moveset it was something new to bring to the table which I think people enjoyed an oh Yea they brought back freaking Kazuya Mishima!!!!

Are you talking about the soldiers from this intro? They are from the Mishima Zaibatsu. Kazuya is now in control of the G Corporation forces. (Which occurred from Tekken 5 - Tekken 6)
