Best Shields and Swords for a Heavy Armored Char are Daedrics, for an Light Armored one would be The Glass Sword and Shield. Better if have Enchantments ;)

Well I prefer enchanting my own swords This way you can get ultimate pwnage! But other than that I like the Dawnfang.

aha, but the mods for oblivion...priceless. and i mean it. some mod raise oblivion (graphics and gameplay) to a higher level.

for example basic gameplay change by some mod i would never play again oblivion without is no monsters leveling up with you.

So you used oblivion.ini to use more system memory? How much video RAM does 7800GTX have? I hear oblivion is not only limited by default to 1 GB RAM, but also to 256 VRAM, and you can change that actually if you have 512MB VRAM. No, the only mods running are those listed in the about box: "Using LOD Texture Replacement and Shadow Map Replacement Mods, as well as No 'Loading Area' Mod, and Better Grass Without Tiling Mod."

Specs listed in the 'About this video' box. The main reason it runs well is the tweaked system, not just the specs. Plenty of people with higher specced systems who get stuttering and slowdowns :)
