I got 900cc blade engine in a off road buggy , 0-6 just over 4 seconds. Nothing wrong with a blade engine atall , just the weight of this car is the problem

nice escort good vid, for everybody saying a bike engine has got no torque, that doesnt really come into it its about gearing, that engine would be probably getting 12 or 13000rpm, im not sure what those engines rev to but its alot, and that allows for much lower gearing then normal and still have the top end speed there thru high revs, its a brilliant idea, if built right id imagine it would be an extremely fast machine.

Sounds awesome. RR motor is plenty for a Mk2 cos' they are light. That engine is almost as powerful as my 2.2 Pinto and mine is pretty rapid plus with the close ratio 'Blade box that's a fast Escort.

a 900cc streetbike costs about the same as an economy car because its expensive to engineer the performance.but if you were to mass produce a car like this it would have no interior,powersteering,stereo, soundproofing,etc.because all of these things put weight in the car that slows it down. hence the fact that they use really light cars to do swaps like these. those engines are made with certain torque ratio for a certain weight.so this escort is like a 900 with a really fat guy on it!still fast

no it is, i mean i dont know the guy personally but its not uncommon. its not cheap they must have run a strait axle with a sprocket from wheel to wheel in the rear. go to the search box up top and put in
