Notice that just before everyone counts to 2, Grover counts "1, 2, 3." Thus, Grover should have known that "1, 2" was all there was to counting to 2.

Episodes like these are why I love the sesame street so much. Just imagine a bunch of grown ups making a kids show and then sneaking in some random chaos in there for their own entertainment, after failing to come up with an educational episode for the poor number 2... :)

While watching part 2, I think Grover needs to learn that two isn't everyone's favorite number. It's not my favorite number as well. Grover still has a lot to learn, doesn't he?

I wonder why Sully didn't talk. I thought it was because Biff always cuts him off, but Biff isn't even in this sketch. You'd think Sully would have taken his chance.

I see your point. Though to be a bit more consistent, Sully could have opened his mouth to say something and Grover could have cut him off saying "never mind, I know it's not your favorite" or something.
