When I was in Disneyland I saw three statues of a very good quality Jessica Rabbit. One was in the store "World of Disney" in downtown Disney, the other was in a shop on Mainstreet in the Disneyland park and the last was in a store called "Disney Off The Page", in California Adventure. The most well handled one was on Mainstreet, so if you are interested in a statuette, there are a few available in 2011! As well as the 2nd movie coming out next year, I could imagine more will be popping up soon!
They're working on a sequel as we speak. I has been in production since 10 months ago. they say it should be ready by late 2012. 2D and 3D.....goin just for 2D :D
Jessica is SO CUTE!Though I'm a girl..Still.I say they should've put her in other episodes with Roger Rabbit, like that sequel they were talking about.I really wanted to see it!!!!!=(
Sexiest toon chick ever next to Taarna from Heavy Metal, i always had a thing for her when i was 7 when i saw this 4 times in theaters and i would squeeze and suck those bosoms dry. But it's funny how she is married to a toon rabbit, what would their kids look like? hybrids of toon-humans/toon-rabbits or what?
Besides her waist being a bit too small to me, cartoon or not, she will always be the sexiest woman alive and has even influences some of my personal style choices.
hahaah roger tells the baby not to burn his weiner! loloh and i loves Jessica, she's beautiful! I have never seen a cartoon lady as sexy and classy as she is <3
Well personally what made me like her was that Jessica was sexy AND classy. She wasn't one of those 'i'm better than you' or was conceited like most toons. And she was protective, caring, and calculating. A deadly combination. ^^ I wish I was like that, but sadly I'm everything she isn't (as far as looks go). lol
Back before CGI was so advanced, Jessica Rabbit was and still is the bar set high when it came to the pin-up girl of sexiness. I remember watching the movie as a kid and thinking that she just OOZED sex appeal and think if there was a woman on earth that looked like her. Sadly, I don't think she'll ever come back - but, hey, Hollywood has been rampant with re-makes. Maybe they'll redo "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" If they do, need more scenes with Jessica Rabbit!
sore two girls cosplay as here yesturday one didnt pull it of and she was to young the other damb couldn't stop looking lfcc had the breast JR cosplayer I've seen anywhere and when she went to lie down for a rest well lets say dammmb ^_^
Incredibly enough, they didn't even mention the MAIN inspiration for Jessica: Tex Avery's unforgetable pin-up, Red ! Sexy redhead, red dress, also a singer and night-club performer... 40 years before Mrs Rabbit and this is rather obvious. :)
I think she's popular because guys wish women had bodies like that. Guys are inherently attracted to the hourglass. But in reality if a woman looked exactly like that cartoon, they would look weird. Kim Kardashian's body comes pretty close though. So does Sofia Vergara's.
@Tigerlily21 The closest ever to look like Jessica Rabbit physically was Jayne Mansfield who had broad shoulders with big breasts, wide hips, long legs, and a wasp waist.
they so need 2 bring her bk 2 di big screen, seriously she wuznt just hot, but a funny character. she'd b gd in modern cartoons. BRING BK JESSICA RABBIT!!!!!!!!!
Don't feel bad when i was a kid I saw this movie and she even tho not real was the first female i had the hots for 24 years old now i'd still hit it if i could lol.
@darkangel12343 I'm 15, and saw the movie when I was 6, and I still drool over her, dude. Now with puberty, one of us is bound to jizz over her one day.
I wonder how they did make that dress sparkle since they didnt have CGI back then. Maybe then filmed an actual model with a shiny dress then rotoscoped it and manualy traced and duplicated over the real sparkels from the dress, the shading on all the toons is also amazing and somthing to behold, again with out the use of the computer.
Jessica's sexy graphic style had been popularized in Argentina between the 1940s and late 1960s by comics drawer, painter, editor and publisher José Antonio Guillermo Divito (1914-1969). The sensual females of his comics (which originated the adjective "Divito girl" in everyday speech referring to a real woman of those features) were a landmark in comics history for its mix of pin-up and cartoon female character shown in sensual and socially funny situations.
i think it was because of her...stunning look and soft erotic voice like 6:33 I mean BONDAGE and the roles are under and over her boobs so they get EXTRA squeezed......wow and HAHA! "save meehh....save meeh...... What?! SAVE ME!!!!!!"
I first saw this movie when I was about 6 years old. I'm now 18, and now I realize just how much Jessica's figure influenced my preferences on women, among other things.
@mintch0colate actually...it wouldnt...there are SOME women who are really built like that, and i envy them, as i have to use corsets like crazy...the unlikely bit however, is the perky breasts without a bra or any noticable underwear whatsoever
I love that. "Why was she so popular?" Notice they didn't suggest that MAYBE it was because she had a figure that could make a man turn into the Tex Avery cartoon wolves?
When a woman who looks that good comes your way, there's always a catch. I wouldn't fall for the temptress routine for a second; it's too easy to get caught with your pants down, no pun intended.
Besides, a woman like that is usually taken already; it's like they get snapped up immediately.
the woman who provides the speaking voice for Jessica couldn't sing, so it's Speilburg's wife singing because they couldn't find anyone else to do the singing voice
Roger Rabbit is not a children's cartoon. Not all cartoons are for kids!!!!!!!!!!!! Images of sexy women are everywhere anyway, bus stop ads, magazines, tv ads, on products, on the wall in clothing stores etc. it's not like kids only see movies.

i saw this movie when it came out in the theater and instantly fell in love with jessica. when if finally came out on video i think i watched it sooo much that the tape wore out. still one of my all time fave movies and jessica is one of my all time favorite movie characters.
Jessica Rabbit, a cartoon character everyone wanted to play pat-a-cake with.
But I find it interesting that the female toons tend to be envious of Jessica, while all the humans think that she is too good for Roger. Does that mean that the females of Toontown find humor to be the best aspect of a man? Hmm...sorry, I'm just thinking. I'm guessing looks aren't as important.
Though I love J.R., my favorite character will always be Roger.
Thank You ,I think Im the biggest Jessica Rabbit freak I have all the collectables.I even have the life sized statue Disney had for sale a few years ago.I wish there were a woman like that in real life she would be mine!LOL thanks again...
Do you have the animation book--may have been a script or book version of the complete movie--that was in book stores twenty years ago? I saw it in a bookstore in a California mall back in '89 and passed up the chance to buy it. Later I couldn't find it anywhere. Still kicking myself for that one.
It's amazing what slips past us as children. Looking back on cartoons like Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid, Loony Tunes, and Betty Boop, it's clear now how very adult themes were/are present. Even with Spongebob Squarepants and Rocko's Modern Life, and certainly Ren and Stimpy. Still love 'em, though. :)
*crossing my fingers* hoping they make that Roger Rabbit prequel someday

Jessica Rabbit, a cartoon character everyone wanted to play pat-a-cake with.
But I find it interesting that the female toons tend to be envious of Jessica, while all the humans think that she is too good for Roger. Does that mean that the females of Toontown find humor to be the best aspect of a man? Hmm...sorry, I'm just thinking. I'm guessing looks aren't as important.
Though I love J.R., my favorite character will always be Roger.

That would be Kathleen Turner.

She doesn't do this song, though.

Amy Irving does this song, but Kathleen Tuner does all the other voice acting for Jessica.
