In what way do you think Megadeth could have done this cover better? Dave Mustaine cant sing it any better, Nick Menza cant drum it any better, the guitarists wouldnt be able to play it any better neither. Not saying in any way that they are playing it wrong, but lets be honest here, this is Megadeth, if you dont like this, then you either dont like Megadeth or Black Sabbath. I disagree with your notion of what a cover should be like. Too many bands (including a couple I have played in) have used the excuse "it's just a cover," to gloss over their inability to meaningfully interpret the classics. I will concede that the Megadeth version is waaaaaay superior to what Motley Crue has done to this song.
