Even with a small break, you can tend to return into shape in no time. Even a little, gives a boxer bonus more, then any avarage guy, due to the past carrier of hard training.

Yeah, it makes you wonder how the standards for boxing has slipped so much since the days of Ivan Drago. You knew they dropped when a Rocky who hadn't trained in a while was able to beat a season shape Tommy Gunn, but this is just unbelievable.. In the old days, Dixon would have been KO'd in the first round if he is simply on par with a 60 year old Rocky.

It was a class act if you ask me, it goes back to the original movie were it went the distance but Rock lost. :)
