I'm getting sick of guest characters, honestly. It just seems like the series isn't taking itself seriously anymore. Instead of making movesets for guest characters, why not make original characters with similar weapons? I hope Kratos isn't overpowered. Le sigh...

Because then you people will cry that the "original" characters are just rip offs of the actual characters. Have you not played a God of War game? Kratos is a fucking beast. Unless they dumb him down really bad, he will be overpowered. It's not like he'll "ruin" a Soul Calibur game. They do that themselves when they release multiple copies of the same thing. Like Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and all the rest. Kratos is fine.

Hey, I got all three of SCII BECAUSE I wanted to play as those guest characters. I thought it was fine for one installment, but the X girl parts in 3 and Star Wars guys in 4 give me the impression that Namco thinks SC needs gimmicks to sell. This is SC, not SSBB (For the record, I like Vader and Brawl).

Honestly, he is the best guest, and OF COURSE he's a BAMF (Chuck Norris probably did his motion capture stuff) I just want a balanced roster with no broken people ala SC3= Sophitia, Xianghua.

I know. Adding the bonus characters is awesome, but it totally unbalances the games. Vader, Yoda, Kratos, all those characters don't even have to lift a finger to destroy anything. If you play with a guest character, you're a god. They do it to promote something that the character is going to be in. This case- GOD OF WAR 3! Also, that 20 min walkthrough for God of War 3 is amazing. That game is seriously going to be a power house of badass. I just can't wait to see how they end this series.
