I do inhales and exhales. I use the same technique, the only difference is whether I'm breathing in or out, I go through phases where I prefer one over the other, lately (the past maybe 8 months-1 year) over been inhaling more, my voice is fine if not better than normal, plus I sing.

I know that screaming all from the throat can ruin a voice and pushing all from the diaphragm and creating your sound into the chest is the best.. not using the top of the vocal chords..

I think there is a lot to know about screaming. The fine line between being powerful and beeing too hard on the chords.

And lots of people know how to scream and I think that's all they care about and figure it's normal for it to hurt. but there is a fine difference in knowing how to scream and knowing how to scream the right way which is using the correct techniques which actually I've found singing and screaming follow the same breathing techniques

Yes thats right! but i personally think they differ on the way to '' exhale'' them or to let the air out. Singing feels much more soft on the chords but from my experience the singing and the screaming requires the same amount of energy and both get your voice tired after a 2 - 3 hour jam...

when it comes to a high exhale you should try just breathing in through your nose first, if your stomach hurts after a high because you go from the diaphragm then put your free hand on your stomach and press below your sternum. it helps alot.

Because your voice changes as you scream. You have to be willing to sacrifice your voice to scream. All screaming will fuck your voice up someday. Doing proper techniques will still only just long your career. Your voice is still at risk.
