  • well use a forester drill bit that is the same size as a dowel and drill holes in the head to create a dead blow hammer by adding lead

  • Mallets are super useful. I have a few soft and a couple that are acrylic made by craftsman. Good to have around!

  • @dafrogtoad Only spectated some and have friends that do it in the Austin area. They come out to the Texas Ren Fest every year and have a good time. They tried to get me to do the armed combat on the battlemound, but I think it was just so they could flog me a bit. :-) Some fine craftsmen associated with SCA wood, leather working, blacksmithing, pottery, soaps, lotions and potions. Lost arts and under appreciated in my opinion.

  • @ndcouey70 I agree, the skill one can learn in the SCA are simply amazing..I have been playing for over 15 years. As far as the fighting goes?..well..LOVE it..what can I say?
