Is NFP only a religious thing? I mean, do only religious organizations teach about it and its benefits? I've yet to find any secular sources that promote it.

There are now 192 member states, and almost 30 programs that protect the environment, human rights, refugees, etc. including:

United Nations Human Rights Council

that delt with food directly.

With other organizations like the Red Cross they provide food, drinking water, shelter and other humanitarian services to people suffering from famine and displaced by war.

Not sure what you mean Jamaica. The Church doesn't control anyone. It teaches Truth and people are free to act in accordance with it or not. Also not sure what you mean by killing the mother either. Both contraception and killing an innocent person are immoral acts. They have that in common, but I don't see what one necessarily has to do with the other.

NFP has no chemical side effects, such as increased risk of cancer, nor the plethora of other side effects which cause about 50% of women who try them to stop using them within the 1st year.

Regarding rape, contraceptives do not prevent rape. Stopping rape has nothing to do with contraceptives. If you are concerned about rape and you are suggesting contraceptives, what does that say about your concern for women?

On the rape thing, as far as I can tell, it is permissible to use methods that prevent conception. The act in this case is warding off the consequences of an attack, which is moral. It would have to be established that conception has not already taken place, because direct abortion is always immoral.

It still pertains to the morning after pill and emergency IUD. Also the insertion of spermicide Immediately after could reduce her chances. Furthermore she can take other preventive methods with hormonal birth control, or other methods that don't need to be inserted just before intercourse.

so yes your right he most likely wouldn't wear a condom, but the question is still valid.

Much ado about nothing, because even granting it, sex with someone with AIDS with a condom is still unacceptably risky and it is wildly immoral to tell people to do it. Just compare it to anti-meth campaigns. The say NEVER do it because they actually care about people.

That's just it. Having sex with someone with AIDs is not safe sex. It's less risky sex I'll grant, but since NONE of us would have sex with someone with AIDS with a condom it is absurd to tell others to do it.

I think the only one thinking this is you! normal, healthy couples think about how much they love their spouse/partner. There are many people from many walks, and I'm sure that they exist in a "non-contraceptive culture" too.
