Is NFP only a religious thing? I mean, do only religious organizations teach about it and its benefits? I've yet to find any secular sources that promote it.
the point is that provisions for artificial contraceptives compete for food and other goods that remedy poverty. some politicians even think of it as a convenient way out of the responsibility for providing these essentials.
Abstinence is the message of Ignoramuses and Hypocrites.
I used to go to conservative churches that teach that abstinence crap and I learned leaders of the churches often crack jokes about 30 and 40 year old virgins.
If you want to know the truth then visit my website and I'll show you the 3 Quick & Dirty Facts the 'Christian' Right will never tell you about premarital sex in the Bible!

Not sure what you mean Jamaica. The Church doesn't control anyone. It teaches Truth and people are free to act in accordance with it or not. Also not sure what you mean by killing the mother either. Both contraception and killing an innocent person are immoral acts. They have that in common, but I don't see what one necessarily has to do with the other.
Does anybody think that by controlling the most intimate parts of life of its members, an organization my have less trouble controlling other parts of it as well?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Wow. Polygameboy apparently forgot video number 5 and so we did not get to hear his brain screech to a halt as he equated NFP with the withdrawl method. Instead, the usual anti-religious bilgewater and dubious assertions.
These nuns are the ones spreading lies that condoms have holes... consequence... Africa has the higest rates of AIDS
And massive over population in comparision to food levels and income resulting in a peadophiles playground of street kids and cheap aquistion for human trafficers for slaves inc sex slaves
NFP has no chemical side effects, such as increased risk of cancer, nor the plethora of other side effects which cause about 50% of women who try them to stop using them within the 1st year.
Regarding rape, contraceptives do not prevent rape. Stopping rape has nothing to do with contraceptives. If you are concerned about rape and you are suggesting contraceptives, what does that say about your concern for women?
On the rape thing, as far as I can tell, it is permissible to use methods that prevent conception. The act in this case is warding off the consequences of an attack, which is moral. It would have to be established that conception has not already taken place, because direct abortion is always immoral.
It still pertains to the morning after pill and emergency IUD. Also the insertion of spermicide Immediately after could reduce her chances. Furthermore she can take other preventive methods with hormonal birth control, or other methods that don't need to be inserted just before intercourse.
so yes your right he most likely wouldn't wear a condom, but the question is still valid.
if you want to attack an org. that promotes birth control then please direct your attack on the WHO (world health org.) WHOs health standers are stricter then the FDA. also you can attack each countries health administration, like india who leads the field in male contraception.
I'm giving up YouTube comments for Lent among other things, but before I go, let me leave you with this delicious piece of irony: At Catholicnewsagency a story called "Italian professors used Wikipedia to attack the Pope"
A news item from 2008 (and not 2003 lol!) where the supposed forces of empirical evidence and fact verification wanted to take a whack at the pope, used Wikipedia, got it wrong and ended up looking silier than the Church-teaching=genocide folk. Bye and God bless you all!
Well la di da! If we just keep repeating "ridiculous!","ignorant" etc, without actual interacting, maybe it will come true. You have hitched your whole case on the "tiny holes" error about condoms. Much ado about nothing, because even granting it, sex with someone with AIDS with a condom is still unacceptably risky and it is wildly immoral to tell people to do it. Just compare it to anti-meth campaigns. The say NEVER do it because they actually care about people.
Did you NOT just make the argument that people want to bring condoms to Africa to sterilize the population?
So now, we should instead tell everyone w/ AIDS they need to stop having sex? But you say that the people wanting to bring condoms to Africa are doing so for the purpose of sterilization?
People are not saying, "HERE'S A CONDOM--HAVE SEX ALL YOU WANT!" They are saying that there's a high prevalence of AIDS, and condoms can help protect you.
That's just it. Having sex with someone with AIDs is not safe sex. It's less risky sex I'll grant, but since NONE of us would have sex with someone with AIDS with a condom it is absurd to tell others to do it.
Of course the creators know about AIDS. And like anyone using an ounce of common sense, they know that those that advocate bombing Africa with condoms don't care two hoots about stopping AIDS but rather about sterilizing "those" people.
it saddens me how deluded some people are, especially in the country with the highest standard of living, I would hope to any god that we would be educated too.
Regarding the comment of "test driving" a car, that statement alone demonstrates the contraceptive belief of using people. A spouse is NOT an object to be purchased and used like a car.
Great point. I have always wondered about that. I told a guy that I wasn't going to have sex before I was married and he started talking about how I was a shoe and a guy needed to be sure I "fit" before marriage... It was quite dehumanizing.
@Pat2656 God bless you! He has a much better man out there for you somewhere, someone who will be honored that you loved him that much, without knowing him, to save yourself only for him. That is a truly beautiful thing. =)
@Pat2656 That is horrible. I am horrified that someone would dare speak to you in such a way. Remember that he nor anyone else has the power to "dehumanize" you. When people act like that they are dehumanizing themselves.
@Pat2656 Sadly Pat, when discussing my aversion to premarital sex with a woman once, she said to me, "Who would buy a car without test driving it first." Unfortunately such barbarism is spreading through both genders.
Says who or what? What a blanket statement. I'm offended, at how ignorant that was. so just because a couple wants to wait until a later date, or to space their children out, or those who have finished having kids, they become sex objects. I think the only one thinking this is you! normal, healthy couples think about how much they love their spouse/partner. There are many people from many walks, and I'm sure that they exist in a "non-contraceptive culture" too.
Is NFP only a religious thing? I mean, do only religious organizations teach about it and its benefits? I've yet to find any secular sources that promote it.

"Yourhuman" aside from the clots, nothing you said is founded.
you didn't quote the Hippocratic Oat.
Nor any of the 4 Geneva Conventions
Nor the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
But then again the Universal Declaration Human Rights come from the UN and according to the video they're evil!

The question then becomes, if a man is so wicked as to rape his wife, why would he put on a condom?

Swwaaddell--Your comment regarding sending condoms to Africa is one of the most ridiculous, ignorant things that I have ever seen.
COMMON SENSE would be NOT misinforming the African public by saying condom's can't help prevent the spread of AIDS.
And would your alternative be teaching NFP to those in Africa? Then they could stop having kids AND get aids. That's better than condoms how?
UNBELIEVABLE.
