i love everything about this movie -the script -the acting - the plot -the sweet music-the washed out colour-the period -France -the humour their love for each other -the sunshine-even the gay parodies but especially the sending up of the "moral majority " types

@noahsdad61 Yes. Unfortunately Remi was a victim of AIDS in a time information wasn't pretty clear around. Quite sad. He died at 32 or 33... if I'm not mistaken.

I believe that this version is far superior to the American remake. It's so politically incorrect. The butler is my fav.
