I clean houses but i'm not the regular "maid"nor do I clean regular people's homes...It's more like a "Special operation Agent" highly skilled to clean ultra expensive, sometimes irreplaceable items that requires know how. I don't touch bathrooms, toilets, etc. I get paid up to $2,500.00 per job to clean Original Artwork, Grand Pianos, hi-Tech devices, collections, etc. trust me...insurance for this can't replace some items of extreme value and being extremely rare.

just to give you an idea a regular "maid' has no idea what shes't touching and cleaning...

1- Bottle of wine in the cellar: Romanee Conti saint vivant: $11,400.00 a BOTTLE!

2- Original Artwork: can be valued as much as 2 million depending...

3- Grand piano Steinway & sons. $40,000.00.

each of these objects require extreme knowledge to clean. i sometimes don't like my job because it takes forever from one thing to another.

nothing motovates me to clean my house more than cps. I once paid $200 to a proffesional company to clean my house when my aunt told cps my house was dirty. The cps woman looked all over my house and said it looked better,but still had a long way to go. . . i was like WHAT??? 200 damn dollars for "oh,its nice, but it could be cleaner" !!!!!!!! My house was spotless, i even had the rugs and carpets professionaly washed and shampood! I need a cps worker w/o a ocd disoder, she acts like the monk.

I especially like ideas about using smell as a way to jump start the cleaning experience I am finding helpful. Like using the fresh smells of a new cleaning product. I like using lemon it smells fresh. Also taking care on oneself is part of the process as you mentioned find great music to clean to. I think I will try the ocean sounds you are right it does sound clean. Thanks for posting.

Great tips! I love the timer thing you do I should try it, cause like you I get side tracked with myspace, facebook, ect. lol! Cleaning your house on Mondays and Fridays makes alot of sense! I think I'm going to start doing that although I work and I do my laundry and cleaning on my days off which are pretty random the monday and friday cleaning days sounds pretty awesome! What I do love doing is a to do list, I write down what needs to be done that day and cross it out as I go! ;0)

Thanks, that's helpful- i like the idea about putting something a bit nicer on so you feel more "alive". In our house we have a list on the side of the fridge of weekly jobs, and we tick them off as we do them, so it's nice to make sure that at the end of the week everything is ticked off- and you get to see who has done most of the ticking (me and my hubby both go out to work)!!!
