You can form your own opinion but I would recommend to anybody to wait on the dvd. Original will always be the best IMO followed by 2 and Resurrection. I would like to see a continuation from that story. There are some things changed around in the remake and some are the same. Leave out the pointless killings,serious profanity, and tone down the gore and language and you would have a decent movie.

True, rarely is it possible to duplicate a classic, and have it live up to that standard, but if I know Rob, his goal is to put his own interpretation of the original. So, at the very least, it will be interesting. Hem folks, entertainment is entertainment, and it beats furthering the story.

Normally, I'd cry at the thought of another remake of a horror movie, but if Rob Zombie of all people is directing this, I have some really high hopes for it. The guy is a legitamate horror movie fan and he knows his stuff, if anyone can improve Halloween, it's him.

me and a few of my student buddies went to see a preview screening of this film and can i say this is totally brilliant he has got this down to a tee, no crappy bust rhymes kung fu or screaming teens in there underwear, its got the fear factor of the original and a brilliant cast, malcom mcdowell brilliant as dr loomis :) cant wait to see the finished version :)
