hey guys. anybody knows what to do if i loaded a youtube video (high resolution) into my bold 9700, and the music continues to play while my phone screen is just black with the words " This video portion of the media being played uses an unsupported format. "

so what format does it support? and is there any software to enable this video to be seen in my blackberry?

Sounds like clothes rubbing to me. I mean he is moving his arms. Only thing that makes noise when I shake my curve is the track-ball, which this doesn't have.

If it is a smart phone, it needs a data plan. Which includes most of the BB line up I can think of off the top of my head and every touch screen phone I can think of too.

double the memory of the bold 9000. The 9700 has 256 mb of ram and flash and i think the original bold has somwhere in the 100 range

I got mine yesteday... believe me its a brilliant phone, ive had people asking me everywhere i go what type it is and copliments on it, i just cant get away from them lol. the screen is awsome and the touch pad is better than the ball like the other blackberrys, as they always break because of that... really awsome phone!

wait for the 9700 as that is going to be the best phone out. it features all the same features buh also is classed very high in design and in the blackberry series.! it will be the newest phone out and will be quite expensive to as of the bold series.

They really cut down things with the new bold. WTF is wrong with the internal memory? Only 256mb? The 9000 had 1gb! I prefer my old bold with a digital trackpack and a better camara.

Incorrect. The original Bold only had 128 mb storage. The other 1 gb was for multimedia. Although the 9700 will not have memory set aside for multimedia, it DOES upgrade the old Bold's application memory to 256 mb.

well depends on what you need, The 8900 is a full featured blackberry with everything, except 3g...If 3g is something you want or need then id say wait and go for the oynx. I have the 8900 for tmobile and i love this phone, its better then any phones they have... But ill be switching over to the Bold 9700 (onyx) when it pops out for tmobile.
