Obama has a natural athletic body & works out. he looks damn good at his age. No shirt!! woowoo! jfk was goodlooking but under his clothing he wasnt so toned. his brother was though. reagan at 47-48 had a nice build but he wasnt presdent at that age.
When was the last time we had a president who looks halfway decent with his shirt off? JFK? It's a good thing when you see that someone is disciplined about their health and fitness. It gives you confidence that they will bring that same discipline to their job, wether it be President or sewer worker. And no, he's not riding on "star power", he's riding on the desire for change from all Americans.
If Obama can encourage fitness we could start to get traction on our desperate medical problems. This needs to be bigger part of the health debate. We need to focus on health, not "health care."

I think we've already had an American paparazzi for some time now.
Barack Obama seems alot like JFK did as a candidate, a sort of celebrity senator who is riding on his star power.
