I like the emphasis on "wasting time" and on time because it's Midnighters and the time in Midnight is so important. It makes the phrase so much more meaningful...

Hey, that's a pretty good song! I like the imagery at the beginning of "racing against the blue midnight"--so correct for "Midnighters." LoL~ I'd love to hear a full band version of this song.
