My camera is broke, i open it and it opens the shutters and everything it just acts like im not touching the screen and i cant do anything. So it's simply a ownership issue on the DCIM directory and all subdirectories and files. WTF! That's a iphone os programmer doing some stupid shit there.

Worked perfectly. Super easy. Basically the only straight forward solution I found on the internet. For all of you less than tech-savy people like myself, you can get terminal from Cydia in the Terminal Support section. Download and you will be good to go if you follow his instructions exactly. It took me longer to figure out how to get terminal than it did to fix the camera problem. Thanks!!!!!!

The problem that I'm having is a bit different then yours, when ever I take a picture and click to view that picture it does come up, but then when I close my camera app and then when ever I want to view that same picture it wont even show any more but when ever I plug in my Iphone to my mac it asks me if I want to down load down load 300 pictures but my Iphone only shows 109.. can some one PLEASE help..

I had a problem with camera and recorder. I couldnt take and view camera roll pics and my recorder would freeze. I looked into it and the way I fixed it was; either ssh into device or use ifile. go to var/mobile/media and delete the DCIM folder. It works now and and when I used the camera it brought back the DCIM folder. works like it used to. Good video

I save a video clip from a text, and when i go to view it in the camera roll, it shows the thumbnail , but it doesnt actually show the video when i select the camera roll, it just has my photos and The videos dont show up at all.
