As great as brother Bryan is, what makes this just about the best version ever of this tune is the great, great arrangement. No one else in bluegrass history ever worked out such elaborate arrangements of fiddle tunes as these three, but for all the complexity, they swing like there's no tomorrow!
i remember hearing this tune on an old county record played by Major Franklin back in the seventies. these guys just tear it up! and i loved that little minor snippet dan slipped in, the little scamp!

I saw these guys in Greensboro NC back in early 80's. I was just starting to play and these guys became a big influence.

I just saw a tape last night on KET where they performed this in Owensboro Ky at the Romp Festival. It is scary good!
