But what I do know is that HTH is the only source that uplifts Courtney Love as being a positive influence on Kurt. And it's the only place where they paint Kurt as an egotistical phony. Literally everything else I've read or seen, says just about the complete opposite. Go fuck yourself.

Cross lived in Seattle during the grunge era and spent 4 years researching that book interviewing 100's of people. It was a better read than CAYA but he did take a lot of special liberties with thoughts. Michael Azerrad really new Kurt and used conversations between the two in "Kurt Cobain About a Son".
