  • I feel the misquotes already lol, TEXAS CMON haha

  • Where can I find a pool like this to swim in my area? I don't have a pool and I really miss swimming.

  • ew that fkn disqusting i dont care if the water is circulated or clean i wud never even touch that water just because of the way it looks. no one wud ever wanna bring friends over to swim in that swamp. ive seen waaay CLEANER PRETTIER and NICER "natural" pools and this is deffinitely not one of them.

  • @swool123 have you ever swam in a river or a dam? You stupid city slicker. harden up.

  • @neelantra um dont call me stupid you dont know me bitch! that was MY FUCKING opinion its not like im trashing the idea of a natural swimming pool i think its nasty for a SWIMMING POOL a pool is ment to be clean and clear to swim in if ppl wanted to swim in dirt then they can go to a lake like that one behind my house that i HAVE swam in a couple of times before thank you so maybe next time you should STFU before you say something when you dont even know the person. god damn.

  • @swool123 Yeah I'm calling you stupid because you are. Don't have to know your bitchy ass, your first comment reveal that you are a total dickhead. The second reinforced it completely. Just shut your pie hole you stupid teen.

  • @neelantra wow ur cool -.- anyways u dont rlly make sence but whateves. this is so old i though you wud have dropped it by now. i did. but obviously your the stupid one here if im a "teen" and your older then you should know better then to keep replying and be the bigger person to just leave it alone.

  • Congrats, this is a wonderful idea, why didn't I think of that :)

Would be happy to by the DVD if I can confirm that there is a liner available that is environmentally friendly (no pvc). I haven't been able to locate a green alternative here in Australia. Thanks

  • @btblou I'm looking into this also and I have narrowed it down to EPDM rubber lining. Check it out.

  • This is an awesome idea.. but I have an extreme fear of frogs, lizards, salamadars and such.. so this does not appeal to me.. but I love the fact its all natural..

  • how do you do the pool circulation??

  • looks cool.

  • You really cant have a natural pool down south. I live in northern South Carolina, though its too cold for alligators, snakes like cottonmouths and water mocasons would take over the pool.

  • so inspiring..... thank you...

  • so you can swim with lizards and bugs no thanks

  • @nolanjuice84

People go swimming in natural LAKES all the time. Same thing.

  • Nice

  • I'd love to have this but in my area that would be a home for cotton mouths within an hour.

  • Actually in america we make things like this all the time on the farm. There called ponds... Some of them quite large, five acres in size, usually fed by natural creeks or streams. We stock them with fish and crawdads, and yes swim in them!

  • Well designed man-made ponds can look much nicer than this.

  • Awful idea, try selling that in America-not a damn chance.

  • @Gustavdone22 Im an american and I'd love to have a natural pool like this someday.

  • @timjones066 : Me too. I like anything that's NATURAL. Natural pool, natural foods, natural water. Basically, anything that doesn't use CHEMICALS. When I first vacation in the USA, I was horrified to find out that they use chlorine in their tap water. I didn't want to shower for days. I'm from Laos and we bathe in rain water that we collect in a water barrell. Rain water is pure and hygenic unless the air is polluted with smog and other chemicals.

  • @Gustavdone22 Don't let what you see here lead you to believe all ponds look this bad. Remember, this is a Do it Yourself video.

  • @Gustavdone22 You're either arrogant or naive to assume that your viewpoint is a popular one, especially now that more and more folks are FINALLY waking up to the fact that chlorine is a poison. I came on here specifically looking for information on natural pools, and fully intend to build one into the landscape of our new home, which by the way would not appeal to your generic limited imagination since it's earth covered and off grid. Please, enjoy your chlorine & cancer...

  • PENIS

  • WOW! AMAZING!

  • HOW MUCH DID IT COST TO DO THAT?

  • so nice.. I would beg my mom for that in the backyard...

sorry for bad english im danish :D

    its so cool

  • Oh! The 'thank you' was to nerdmom920:)

  • Smiling. Thank you for your observation. Amazing how simple-minded we humans can sometimes be in identifying 'the' problem. Limited thinking? Tempting, but...

  • Mosquitoes find life very hard in a healthy pond ecosystem. There are so many natural predators, like dragonfly larvae, that they have little chance of survival. You will find far more mosquitoes in a forgotten bucket of water.

  • I am interested in this, but would this pond not become a breeding ground for mosquitos?

  • The same green agenda and the thousands of over-reaching enviromental laws that have put millions of us out of our homes, jobs, and businesses, Would prohibit building these homemade swimming holes !!!. Don't forget that the all of these same socialist and enviromental laws that violate all of your Natural, Civil, Constitutional, Parental, Privacy, Medical, Resource, Financial, and Religious Rights Also directly violate your Propety Rights !!!. Stop pushing the corrupt socialist green agenda !!!

  • @shirleymae30 Yeah, it totally wasn't greedy investment firms packaging and selling unsustainable loans that wrecked our economy. It wasn't forcing monoculture crops that are have no natural defense against disease. It wasn't a complete dependence on one source of energy that exists in limited quantities. It was natural swimming pools all the way.

  • gosh....such a beauty of nature!

  • I WANT TO SWIM IN IT!!!!! Thanks for the Inspirado!!!!!

  • Ok fair point. We don't have alligators. But I'm sure if swimming pools are alligator proof then a Natural Swimming Pool could be made just as secure. You could even make it look like a normal bright blue pool. You can buy pond liner in bright colours too. They don't all have to be black. But hey, I'm sure some clever guys over there are already working on it.

  • @davidpaganbutler Your right, Alligator proof is easy, but it would be nearly impossible to proof it against snakes

  • Fantastic idea for most climates. That would be tough here in Florida. Water moccasins and alligators taking up residence in the pool would be too common. At least with blue-bottom pools, you can see the bottom before you jump in.

  • You can drink this pond water! I have just had the water in this pool tested by the labs at South Coast Water. It meets (and exceeds) UK drinking water standards.

  • These pools have been built in Austria, Germany, France, UK, Australia and many other places. So they seem adaptable to most climates.

  • is it designed for a certain hardiness zone?

  • Hi All, the full length film will be out in January and I will post another trailer when we have it. Please sign up as a Friend and you will hear from us. It will be sold through Green Shopping.

  • I need the spanish video please :D

  • when does the DVD come out? I can't wait!

  • when does the DVD come out? I can't wait!

  • Absolutely Fantastic!!! I want to build one...

  • awesome!!!!

  • Wild swimming at home... fantastic!

  • Totally cool!

  • Super Genius! Thank you, now I've gotta have it!

  • A much healthier and happier swimming pool!

  • Want one!
